Andy. Many years ago when I worked on the land it was a gift to walk the farm on mornings like that. I do miss them but I’m lucky enough to have a couple of acres to wonder around, my work days take me into mainly cities which is where the monies at. Your a lucky man to have at your doorstep a lot more acres than most to wonder over. Enjoy everyday that life brings you because they seem to run out oh so fast. 😮😮😢

I had my rear window open when plowing one day on a cat crawler and as I lifted the plow a hydrolic hose blew that made a mess in the cab because it was right at back of tractor so hit the window and fired it into the cab.was lovely and warm aswell

Good job it didn't happen with your little lad in the cab, I don't why tractor manufacturers don't but protective film or something on the glass like car windscreens. We had one go on the road it's not a pleasant experience.

Hey man, great video as always, great to hear your son likes to play farming simulator, that’s my favourite game too. I’d love it if someone made a map of your farm(s) for that game. Shame about the window, glad you weren’t injured, cheers mate 👍🇦🇺

I had a front window go like that on a 6910 a few years back. I agree. It’s like a shot gun going off! The front one going then drops glass all in the air vents in those too which was a ball ache to clear.

I lost 3 back windows in 6 months a few years back 1 big baling thought I had been shot Then muck spreading when turning on the headland the 3 rd one was a bit strange heard an impact on the window but it did not smash parked it in the shed that night to find the following morning the glass all over the floor Made a mesh screen for it when I am muck spreading stopped a brick this year

Andy, have you thought about putting some tinting film over the new window? Better for glare in the sun and reflection on the windscreen at night with the work lights on? Also if it happens again, the film will help contain the glass??

Yea not a bad idea….

We smashed a rear window on our NH6635 at least 3 times. It has the same cab as the 40/60 and tm series. So a HUUUGE backwindow. And they dont go well with strautmann blockcutters in the rear linkage. And what a pain it is to clean it all out. Had a to repair something in the cab this summer and still found bits of glass and the last break was in 2008 or 9.. But in the field is even more f-ed up..
@laytonphillips66672 жыл бұрын
Great video Andy, bet that shook you up, hope you got it replaced. Should of got dad up to help you clear it up. Be bits of glass in there for months least your okay. That looks expensive.
