Brilliant!!! This is a great way for us to practice our listening skills, even our speaking skills as well (shadowing for example), learn a ton of vocabulary and expressions, etc, while we listen to a great conversation. I really enjoyed it. 👏🏼👏🏼

Great father. Some people are like history books - you learn a lot from them.Much more than I expected, thought it was going to be just a light conversation about everyday.stuff. both of you are intelligent people. One of the best life conversations. so.useful. Thanks a lot

The other day i watched the video half way, and today continued watching the remaining part. I think if you can understand this video then yes, you have good comprehension because me and my dad were just talking as naturally would! Keep practicing by listening to people with different accents and different ages, as people’s English speaking can be so different from person to person! ☺️ thanks for your lovely comment!

Why is it much easier to understand your dad's accent than yours? You've got RP, haven't u? What about your dad's one?

There might be a few reasons for this! I grew up in Birmingham so I have a few things in my accent that are influenced by the Birmingham dialect. My Dad’s parents are priests so his influences spoke in very clear, slow ways. I am younger so I use more slang and my diction is a little more sloppy!
