Guys before choosing an internet plan ,see whether they are offering high *MB/s* not *Mbps* Usually Internet providers mentions speed in Mbps but files sizes are measured in bytes, not bits. Therefore, MB/s is used to give users a better idea of how much of a file is transferred per second. MB/s -> Megabyte per second.This is the actual data transfer in MB per second. Mbps -> Megabits per second.This is the actual data transfer in Megabits per second (8 megabits = 1 megabyte) For example if you have a 5 MB/s(40Mbps) connection then to download a 50 MB app ,it will take 10 seconds whereas a 5 Mbps(0.625 MB/s) connection will take 80 seconds to download the same app You can easily convert Mbps to MB/s 1 Mbps = 0.125 MB/s

Well said, bro. This is true. Also need to mention about ACT internet. The problem is not with the net speeds. However, They do not respect customers. The people who come to rectify the problem don't care about their own hardware. They told us they want to have a distribution box in our house for a couple of connections. We accepted it. They initially told us they might come once or twice a month and only one service person will come. however, as days passed by different people came on different days and it became frequent as much as 5 visits a day. Then, when we asked them to remove it, they told us to disconnect out internet and remove the power to the box. This is how rude they are. Absolutely be careful. Thanks.

But they improved their speed from 50mbps to 100mbps. The monthly quota was 500GB. But now monthly limit is 1500 GB. Customer care is top notch. They are improving a lot each and everyday.

Check the WAN input speed whether your router / modem supports 1Gbps and always use LAN Cables to get the full speed & stable connaction. wifi signals will be having interference from other devices sending radio waves, weaker signals sent by older and less efficient wireless equipment, technical issues with the receiving device can make the signal appear weak, or a lack of power from the wireless router resulting in a weaker signal.

Try to connect both internet through same device, from device to device the speed may vary. Example : processor, wifi version, etc., Moreover system(pc) has high power consumption. First connect jio broadband to system with Ethernet and without Ethernet( in wifi), then connect to the Hathway, with Ethernet and without Ethernet(wifi), show time difference between these four types I am not supporting jio. Now it's 2023, 2 years back also 1 gbps is available but we didn't have devices or the router which pushes full 1000gb speed, hence it's better if you opt for upto 250 or 300 gbps, see practically speaking if one person is watching a 4k video for example 50mbps speed itself is the correct speed or the maximum speed , But if you have more than 2 or 3 people just get maximum 100mbps , it will suffice. The biggest factor will be the router , Get a good router in the first place , it should have the fast speed holding capacity plus the wireless tech should be the latest.

Bro, you should have tested Jio upload speed and duration on the same desktop PC in which you tried Hathway. You tested JIo on the laptop. It's not fair. Compare both in the same machines. Anyways, Good Video. Every ISP has some or the other PROS & CONS. We can't expect everything under one banner. Only one solution if one can afford it..... . Get a dedicated Fiber -Optic connection.

Railwire is the best connection. it will comes correctly . if i put 50MB/s plan it will comes 50 MB/s . No speed drop OR No speed up. but you can put onu device and wifi router. don't put ont router for railwire.

Airtel service is the best when compared to ACT. They come even on Sundays and fix it. In my area many times ACT customers face issues for several days and no one fixes it. Also they have speed issues. Airtel fixes it same day or max next day. No speed issues!

Bro I use airtel fiber, I have the upload speed issue I have 15 Mbps download speed and 100 Kbps upload speed. But they have an amazing range and we use more than 10 mobile, a console and 3 laptops and there is a lag due to many uses but if i use for sole mobile or console or laptop, it was fast. But they need to change their customer service and upload speed, even when I asked for the upload speed issue they dont reply or they say it was an network issue for just one day but it is an issue I been facing for 2 years now

But in this Corona time, Service is very important and Airtel is great. So just 80 rs difference. Infact I asked Airtel for discount and 899 plan they gave me for 799. So its cheaper than ACT for me

Bro jio fibrenet problem is in location i guess. Ranjeet channel la 40 mbps la 1 4k video and 3 1080p video play pananga. All was playing without any buffer. I think mumbai la tha service nalla irukunu.

Irfan, the worst to the core is that these Hathway buggers, repeatedly call for recharge but in my case after recharging these idiots didn't activate my service. I tried calling the person who made me to recharge, the person is wantedly avoid my calls.. how cheap is their business !!!

If you are expecting a good service go for Airtel. But Airtel offers lesser speeds. If you are ok for spending higher cost go for ACT, Hathway keep it at last. They are very worst in customer service area, if you do not encounter any issues with Hathway you can enjoy better network. Problem is, once if any issues arises you will have to fight with these guys in fixing it. Btw I am using Airtel now..
