Your hair looks so defined, shiny and bouncy 😍😍 Loved your results and it turned out so good even though you accidentally used too much 😂 Hope we can collab again in the future, this has been so fun!

Interesting technique ☺️ Maybe you can make a video using the products you think would work better with the same technique and compare the results. Thank you for the lovely video 💚

I follow both of you! So great to see you both collab! I love doing this with a foam. By far best way as I feel it is super lightweight and the water content helps to smooth out some frizz if there is any after diffusing for a bit
@JordanFaith2 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! I think using foam is my favorite way to do it too - it works great!

This is a great technique I use on in office days because the curls last all day. I also find it helps to mix the second hell with a little water when applying.

I love the smasters technique! I use it a lot when I want extra hold. I tend to get tighter curls when I do it too.

Thanks for the video. Your hair looks great! This is a technique I've used, but I didn't know it had a name and I'd never heard of Smasters before watching your video. It's just something I did if my hair looked like it needed more gel partway through drying. My main question is how you would pick what products to use if you did it again with products you prefer more? I've been trying different things, but am never sure what to use for myself.
@JordanFaith2 жыл бұрын
For best results I like to use a lightweight gel that’s not too sticky or use a foam! These options are easy to apply and shouldn’t weigh the hair down or leave it feeling sticky :)

I also love the KCCC for layering! So shiny and voluminous! Your results came out smashing! Did you catch what I did there? Lol! So...what i just discovered works super well for me is wet plopping in a tighter satin lined bonnet right out of the shower..after products r applied..while I'm drying off the rest of my body n doing my skin care. Literally wet plop in that cap for 10 mins at most. I will also throw on my clothes so i can root clip more easily. I cannot believe my lack of frizz n rppt lift

*root lift. Lol! Gosh! We learn as we go, i reckon! Xo

Your hair looks great! I find smasters works well for me on days I microplop and remove product as well. I can't use the KCCC on my fine, low density hair. I was wondering why you used it and then you said why. I usually smasters with the same gel I used to begin with.
@JordanFaith2 жыл бұрын
I would typically use a lightweight gel or a foam for smasters and that’s definitely what I’ll continue to do, but it was interesting to try the “original” way! 😅

I smasters with the curlsmith in shower fixer, which is waaaaaay to much to use as my primary gel (which is old school LA Looks btw).

How do you tell when your hair is half way dry? I know we’re not supposed to touch it while diffusing. I have a hard time telling how dry my hair is when diffusing in general.
@JordanFaith2 жыл бұрын
I stick my fingers into the midsection of my hair just to check the dryness level. It doesn’t have to be exactly 50% :) I will be uploading a diffusing tips video very soon that demonstrates this!
