It's cannon cause she does it with the Tookie Suit in Smash Bros. and Super Mario 3D World as well.. But yeah this does look good.. balance out Peach's jumping floating mechanics then you will have something perfect.. Right now it's very good..

That would unbalance the game if Peach could float without the Racoon power-up.

@@edwardgaines6561 floating on the level of what she can do in NA SMB2 would be an advantage but not enough to meaningfully imbalance the game. If you're that worried about it, maybe there is no Super Peach? She's just naturally at super peach size but she dies when she's hit if she doesn't have a power up instead of reverting to natural size like Mario or Luigi would.

Fun Fact, in The Adventures of Super Mario Brothers 3, Peach actually can don a Frog Suit. However, in more modern Nintendo games, the Frog Suit has pretty much been replaced by the Penguin Suit, which has not only the Ice Flower ability, but also a sliding ability, as well as the swimming ability of the Frog Suit.

The sprite work on this game is immaculate! I'd want these sprites to be used for a potential Super Mario Maker 3 where more characters are playable such as Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Wario, Waluigi, and Pauline.

This looks like a really fun game, even if it's mostly just SMB3 with Peach and Daisy instead of Mario and Luigi. However, I think if this is meant to take place around the same time as Super Mario Bros 3, then maybe it should be called "Super Princess *Toadstool* 3" because she was known as Princess Toadstool in the US in the NES and SNES eras.

At 1:30:04 it was 1991 I missed the jump back onto the battleship thought Mario was going to drowned or get squished from the scrolling, but I kept hearing the swimming sound so I kept pushing the button to continue swimming that’s when I was wowed I could swim under the battleship! Note when doing this, be careful not to swim too fast when going under the ship Mario’s head can get hung up on the log.

Another thing to be careful of is swimming under the gunships to the very end; there's a chance to be unable to get the height needed to jump outta the water and onto the deck...leaving you kinda stuck until time runs out.

Peach has smooth animation. I love her flying animation basically has her floating similar to Wendy from Peter Pan movies. Very well done. Kinda wish there were different custom levels though, but still--SMB3 with a different character is pretty cool.

Both are correct. From Super Mario Bros. 1 to World, she was called Toadstool in the US, and Peach in Japan. The US release of Super Mario 64 unified things (much like how they decided to have the Nintendo 64 called that worldwide) with a simple line in her letter inviting you to the castle: "Princess Toadstool...Peach." And it's been Peach for her worldwide ever since.
