Awesome Big B! Personally I think anything over 70mph is hauling ass... But 80+ mph is just flying! Really appreciate your content. Has helped me a lot and saved me a lot of frustration! 👍 Keep it coming.

Congratulations on the new p.b. Big B. 82 MPH. is just sick. This is a bit dangerous, I might be tempted to buy a new boat and batteries myself. Thanks for all the good videos you make. Greetings from Norway.

Man I love what you do here it is so great to learn and save money being wasted on all the stuff out there that’s not worth our hard earned money. Having said that from what I have read crashes can add speed. Also I have read independent tests on lipo’s and if we believe those testers the SMC Spektrum lipo’s are not that fantastic, especially as they age. I personally have had a great run out of my Spektrum smart g2 lipo’s. If you could manage to get a run without a crash and that run be a PB then this to me would be so much better than these so called tests these people do because your actually doing it in the boat in the water, it’s real. You can’t be changing Props at the same time because it’s impossible to know if it’s the lipo or the prop that got the PB. Of course no matter what you do and how you do it, the journey is really awesome. I love your excitement and raw emotion I am sure it’s how most of us feel when we are doing similar things it’s just you can bring it to your videos. Absolutely brilliant mate.

Thanks brother, so what I'll do here shortly is run the boat with the same prop I was running previously 45mm prop. The prop I ran in this video was 45 mm but a different brand. As you say it's hard to give a honest review without being biased. That's why I do my testing like I say the proof is in the pudding 🍮 🙂

Quick question? Are you the guy who owns a prop shop? Can't remember if it was you or another guy? If so I've got a question for you.... thanks in advance

@@IRONCLADRC no mate not me. All I do is play around with them like you. My fastest prop is a dasboata from Chris Hoffman. I am just an Australian fellow Rc boat lover . Mostly riggers but I do own 1 SR80 vector mono. I am minus my jae 33 fe rigger as of the weekend turn radius was not tight enough at speed I hit the shore retaining boulders at full speed. It was just my 4 th run on 8s my best was 93 mph in not great water. Because it was on the shore I saved all the parts and the sponsons. I’m building a carbon fibre tub in the garage right now. I am trying out vacuum bagging not proficient at it yet so far it’s heavier than plywood at what I call strong enough in the thickness.
@IRONCLADRC2 жыл бұрын
@@jamesatkinson7517 okay roger that, thanks. oh man that's a bummer brother I really hate to hear that. 93 is something else been contemplating ja build for some time now.. I'm in the process of designing a mini rigger powered by a 380 traxxas venalon motor for saw passes. The tub is gonna favor the "world record rigger" but scaled down, it's gonna be my winter project, the sponsons are gonna be adjustable like my micro rigger ... Hopefully I can pull it off. Good luck with your rebuild.

Just hit 81mpg with mine today!!!! Using a 60mm 3 blade from ose. All i have done is a dual cooling kit and I was using 11kmah 4s from gens ace. Water was rough today with the jet skis but hoping she's got atleast 85 in her 🙏 you think I should finally throw on my trim tabs? Not really having issues with the front lifting too much.

Wow 93mph is insane with a veles, I'm in the process of upgrading the electronics. Praying I can pull off a number anywhere close to 93, i'd be a happy man My all time boat pb is 82 as you seen in this video.

Congrats there Big B, holy shit!! Hey George do you get as many power cuts with the timing advanced? I am trying to run the veles stock prop in the v2 and getting lots of cuts. Big B do you thinking turning off the LVC would eliminate power cuts?

@chriscraft31262 жыл бұрын
@@georgem.6136 That's my problem then. Need a bigger area to grab the throttle slower. Why do esc do a power cut? Is it just the lvc kicking in or are they programmed to cut off when they push too many amps?

Awesome BIG B, SMC hello, I use extreme and dv’s in my rc’ s, have tried the others yet. All in due time. Me V1 got a lot of damage in nose(split it) yesterday, guess I hit a turtle with rudder was hauling ass, couldn’t get control of boat before it hit a stump in water, Louisiana water stumps. Don’t know how I’ll fix that problem

about to run my sonic v2 and impulse 32, both have dual trim tabs,question is best to keep the pair even or is it better to have one lower or higher and which one lower. any way I love the videos and info, peace
@robbomber9842 жыл бұрын
my thought is having the ones that are closest to the bottom of the boat should be higher then the ones further away so to allow the boat to come up then the outer ones can hold it down, wow too much any I'm out.

I usually run mine the same on both sides, or the right trim tab just a hair lower than the left side

what happen is if u can't discharge battries for a while coz i could while boat was down
@IRONCLADRC2 жыл бұрын
If your battery's aren't stored at or around 3.8v per cell for a long period of time, you could possibly damage the battery internally, meaning it's not a visible problem but more like a loss of power in the pack that can Not be restored......
