Ombré noir is gorgeous, the top notes are very boozy but the dry down is musky and dark but a hint of sweet. I really love this one and hope they keep producing it 😊

Just smelled the lalique perfumes today (at the Lalique's corner in Le Printemps, Lyon, France). "Elegance animale" doesn't seem to be discontinued. My favorite was also "terres aromatiques", it seemed to me it was an androgynous cousin to "encre noire", I really liked it and the evolution on my skin was evolutive and overall nice. My husband says that on me it smells like pencils ! I must say at some point I got that freshly sharpened pencils in an old classroom image (and I liked it !).Thanks to this perfume and Hermès's "eau de Narcisse bleu"... and the fact that I like Vetiver most of the time, I figured out that I like earthy fragrances ... As I progressively come to like more challenging fragrances, I hope I don't end up smelling like an old cave some day, hahaha ... Thank you for your nice perfume revews :) !

Thank you for the background history of lalique, I only heard they were a glass luxury brand which attributes to their stunning glass bottles. Speaking of which the gold and purple rock necklace is really pretty 😊 A brand that is mid range I would love to see a video on is clean reserve, so far I have to say I like some of their scents more than le labo which is significantly pricier 🌚

So funny! I am wearing/testing Lalique Le Parfum- en ce moment exacte, que vous nous avez donné cette vidéo! I can’t believe the despondent reviews on fragrantica about it- it’s a gorgeous boozy vanilla! Yes I admit it has some herbal notes but it is above all a vanilla in the style of SDV. Of course it is by Dominique Ropion so it’s not a dupe. Let’s see if you speak of this one..

Great vid Sam! I'm a big fan of the brand. Pour Homme edp (lion) is probably the closest I've come to a signature scent. It's no wonder that they were chosen to do the Bentley fragrances. I've also just seen a first impressions on the new White in Black and they were quite positive. Interested to try that one.

I have tried two Lalique fragrances, E noir and Laluque edp pour home, I can tell you that Lalique packs the perfume with iso e super molecules. If you do not believe just spray Lalique perfume on your neck and taste the burning of the skin. Lalique perfumery targets the cheapies market and thus follow liw or no standard! I have in my hand Lalique Elegance animale, this is supposed to be from the high end category. not tested yet.

Perles Da Lalique I sprayed a total 40 times on my pulse points, hair and clothes. It is so light I used maybe a 1/6th of my new bottle. Smells pleasant but lasts seconds with no sillage. Will not buy again.

Ombre Noire sounds intriguing, especially since myrrh is one of my favorite notes. Is it sweet? I don't like sweet. For reference, Ambre Sultan is one of my favorite ambers because it is dry, dusty, and herbal. Is Ombre Noire in the same sort of genre as Ambre Sultan or is it more sweet and gourmand-y? Thank you! Ombre Noire isn't sweet, I couldn't wear a sweet fragrance daily. It is along the general style of Ambre Sultan I would say, but not ambery. I hope that makes sense. I would get a sample if I were you 🌹Xo Sam
