It is exactly as you have said! I don’t get any Oud at all! Woody, floral… stunning from A to Z!! Yes, don’t wear it on a white shirt. It stains. Performance? More than 14 hours on skin in my experience. It will be on your clothes 24hrs plus!!

Fantastic review. Bought it today in an Arabic shop. Living in Amsterdam in a almost 95% Moslim neighborhood. I love it. I love the food, I love the people around me, but did not know I also loved their perfumes also. Oh my God, after your review I run to the shop and bought it (and a lot more beautiful bottles of perfume, I really get high from the scents, soooooo happy). At home sprayed it on and this is gorgeous. I am a woman and love fragrances. Get very dissapoined in niche and main stream perfumery ( Ridicule price and also very weak skinscents). But thanks to our middle east perfumers, they make stunning fragrances. Thanxxx for the review.

Just received my bottle today. What an absolute power house of a Frag. I'm getting a Turkish Delight vibe now it's settling on my skin. What a bargain at £13.49 delivered. Can't believe how good these middle eastern frags are for so little money. Got about 9 or 10 now. All are belting for the money. Given 2 to the wife as too sweet on my skin.

Coming back after buying Oud al layl! My impression was a bit mixed. Pros for me was the longevity 24hrs plus and still projecting after 24hrs. Cons for me was that I personally don’t like this genre of fragrances.

I just got mine and it's a very atmospheric smell . Reminds me of a nice hotel room . The initial smell is very misleading on a first impression. But the dry down is very present for a long time .

I love this classic bottle as well as nice fragrance, it's gives some wipes bit similar to fogmaster Oakmoss, but it's having great longevity and ultimate projection not only 1 - to 2 feet but full fill whole room.

This is nice fragrance, this is for all seasons perfume, I haven't seen some warm feeling. This is a beautiful of its presentation, and 4 moon post seeing two small oud chips make it classic look. That's why it's not in stock, every individual restock again and again due to huge demand.

Oud Al Layl means in Arabic Oud of the night . I hope I did not repeat that among others. and Yes in the Arab world we do fall in love with strong fragrance . in the western world people always scared of strong fragrance .. I will ware any fragrance I like any year . but with the strong one during summer I will tune it down a little . in the end the propose not just for me but to please my surrounding as well .. thank you for the review

first of all - thanks for bringing this to our attn got a bottle from amazon - £12.50!!! gotta say - amazing power and longevity - you werent kidding there but unfortunately a bit too powdery and feminine for me my wife seemed to like it and my mum asked me what i was wearing several hours after having applied it when i went o see her so maybe its better in the air and to others BUT BE WARNED it is extremely strong sprayed on my neck and it rubbed off onto my teeshirt and was projecting thru'out my room all night when i put my tee shirt on the radiator - when the heating came on in the morning - boy oh boy the whole room smelt of it, and actually it was much more pleasant the following day

Bought this after watching your review, I don't think you did it justice 😂 cause you forgot to put a warning sign on it. It's bloody nuclear, choked out my entire family having sprayed it 5 times on me 😂. Update: I purchased this and yes, indeed this is powerful. My wife said that it smells a bit soapy and the dry down seems to take hours before it shows up, but it is nice. You definitely have to go easy on the sprays or you will choke yourself out.

I’m probably the 100th viewer who blind bought this based on your review. You really did a great job! Both the presentation and the performance are out of this world at such a low price point. Nevertheless I was kinda disappointed upon spraying it for the first time. I really hoped to get -some- oud due to its name and the wood chips in the bottle, but it is non existent to my nose. Also this fragrance is a bit too feminine for my liking but fortunately the dry down turns it into a much more masculine smell. To me this fragrance starts off very floral, followed by some zesty soapiness and ends with a beautiful butter like smell that makes me wanna smell my wrist over and over again. I recommend this to anyone who’s into oriental fragrances and isn’t afraid of floral notes.

I couldn't guess Alma, but , from my point of view this is heavy musk, Oakmoss combo, so if you like classic femail fragrances like Chanel No5, YSL Opium or even Coco Parfum by Chanel then you should give this a try.

I bought this a few years after you made this review. You and others have absolutely raved about it. But perhaps the latest batches are different, mine is linear, and smells cheap and awful. Actually it is Night's Oud or Oud of the night not "for the night", otherwise it would be "عود لليل" whereas it is "عود الليل".
