I think the name means that it is a perfume that becomes addictive ,,,, just like a drug !!! And rightly so it really is an addictive smell !!!

I love AG'S work between nasamatto & Orto parisi, there's so many I love. I've not tried China white but I know I have a sample somewhere , so it's great to learn your thoughts on this. Time to look for it!

Just came out of the fragrance boutique, that I shop in and got my nose on this. What I get from this is musky, clean vibe with some minor citrus on the background, I don’t know if it is a combination of citrus and Vetiver, but surely it was interesting. On the back shelf I noticed a bottle of YSL’s Caban... I sprayed it... And there it was - Pure class in a bottle. I felt 10cm higher just by spraying it on my arm. Guess who left with a new bottle? And no, it wasn’t White China 😃

Absinthe is good for fall/winter. I go back and forth with China White, whose smell is "violets in concrete". I love the way his scents flow just off your skin. For all their scents I find they provide an all-day ever changing change. It lasts FOREVER, one quick spray only. China White is PERFECT for the humid coastal area where I live, but I wear it to work and it hangs so close to the body never a single complaint, a few compliments from closely seated people

i think you explained the idea of Grand Soir perfectly. The radiant synthetic amber. Also interesting that heroin smells like vinegar.

I bought 2 bottles, and a small bottle in oil. I do love this one. I don’t understand why I love it. It’s addictive, I keep trying to smell it . I didn’t want to like it so much but I do. I love the spray extrait but the oil collection doesn’t do anything for me. I’m upset I paid $45 for it when I could have just bought myself another bottle:. I actually bought the entire line. I love Nasomatto

I am totally with you. Nasomatto fragrances are special and they have an addictive quality. I am the same with Pardon, just cant get enough of it.

@@ACSmellsGood nooooo not just cheapies....I have lots of niche..... nasamattos....ortos......amouage. If it's good I will buy it.....I recommend Seminalis and megamare to start with....so different to anything I have ever smelled

That confidence though 😂😂 , thank you for the mention . it turned out very powdery on me when I tried this , but I enjoyed it and was even more curious about the coke/heroin smell 😂🙈. This is a solid fragrance. I love a few from this house. I want to try Narcotic V now 😍. Great review sir 👍👍

I like only two from this house and China White is one. Consider yourself lucky if u don’t know what China White is. And I can confirm that no this does NOT smell like heroin. Nor do u want a heroin smelling perfume. It’s nasty and it doesn’t really have much smell. As it shouldn’t. It’s all about taste and feel. Nothing to want.
