Fantastic job! Built a Smer 1/40 Spad VII last year and have a 1/50 S.E. 5A in the stash. Love these old kits, so much more fun than today's precision fare.

Awesome, this kit is from a Merit Model's mold from the late 50s early 60s.Smer bought these old molds, explains the huge amount of flash on it.It is very old the mold.

Thank you. It's definitely showing its age, but actually nice to build all the same. I might actually try another old Smer kit sometime 😀

Absolutely amazing work on this old kit. I have in my closet the same old kit SM 79 from the same manufacturer and also with accessories EDUARD, but so far I have not found enough courage to rebuild :)

Thank you. It was actually an enjoyable build and doesn't cost much - go on, have a go with your one 👍

@@simontullett923 Good day. So I finally got inspired by your construction of this very old Swordfish model and I'm finishing this model as well. Thank you very much again for your inspiration. If you are interested, I will be very pleased if you see the building to continue on my channel. Regards Aleš.😊👍

Great build, bravo. Subscribed. I bought the Tamiya kit, then the Smer version. Huge differences, but will be fun!
