Particle Logo Animation Tutorial in After Effects | Trapcode Particular Plugin | 3D Reflection

I'm pretty new 2 this, so your vids are a great learning and inspiration. However when I was following your tutorial, step by step, I'm came across that the particles are not sync with the original image. The blow particle effect is way off from the original image (right below corner). I Thought I made a mistake and used your tutorial file and got the same problem. So no clue what I'm doing wrong. If you could help or point me in the right direction much appreciated . Thx and keep doing those lovely tutorials.

yeah! this WOULD be dope if you didn't have to go on a wild goose chase to find the trapcode particular. It seems to be very difficult to just download into your plug ins. rendering this tutorial kinda moot cause you cant go past 3mins without it. Anybody found a way to get this problem solved?

great tutorial and nice effect. only thing that I mind is the animation is backwards, logo appears to be full and dissipates by the end of it instead it should begin from nothing and do a full logo reveal with camera zooming in

I am a beginner in After Effects, and I've been following your tutorial step by step. However, in the track matte section, not all options are showing up line by line like in your tutorial. Specifically, I don't see Alpha Matte Turbulent Shape, Alpha Inverted Matte Turbulent Shape, Luma Matte Turbulent Shape, and Luma Inverted Turbulent Shape as shown in your example. This issue is making it difficult for me to proceed after working with the logo stripe. Do you have any clues on how to fix this? Thank you.

A popular kind of Logo Animations is done with a paid Particular plugin. Sadly build-in effects do not offer the customizability necessary to create advanced looks like this. Hope you learn something new here.

When I apply the compound blur and link it to the floor it doesn’t show on the reflection layer :( I’ve rewatched that part like a dozen times and still can’t figure out what i’m doing wrong lol Would you have any ideas what I may have done wrong? What do you mean exactly? The video is quite old at this point and track matte column looks different now, just select whatever layer you want in the track matte and it will be set to alpha matte, to invert matte check the second box to the right

You need to install the plugin first for it to show up in effects. I am creating many compositions to keep everything organized. In case if you want to use a different logo you simple change it in logo composition and everything will automatically adjust.
