That is the revelation that reaches every listener, who has heard for the first time the compositions performed by the Student Musical Formation "JARAVA" at the Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski".
The compositions are mixtures of Bulgarian folk music, hip hop , jazz, pop, classical music.
The compositions carry a message to the young people of Bulgaria to rediscover Bulgarian values and traditions.
The young men and women from Students' Musical Formation "JARAVA" shot their debut video to their composition "Mish Mash" in the city of Plovdiv with the cooperation of Plovdiv Municipality.
Residents and guests watched the recording process that took place on the most beautiful and emblematic locations in the city of the hills.
The finished video will appear on TV at august.
The composition "Mish Mash" is based on the music and arrangement by the mentor of the Students' Musical Formation "JARAVA", the kaval player Vladimir Velichkov,who also did the adaptation of the folklore text.
On july 21 the debut of the composition was presented by DARIK Radio , a special guest during the filming of the video.
In an interview with the author and host Kiril Kirilov, the young performers shared their emotions and the joy that they have the honor to be part of the project '' JARAVA '' at the Plovdiv University '' Paisii Hilendarski '', created by the conductor and composer- Mentor of The formation Vladimir Velichkov.
Who are the Student Musical Formation '' JARAVA ''?
Stefani Zhelyazkova, Maria Petkova, Sheri Asan - vocalists, Valya Ivanova - gadulka, Jordan Topalov - bagpipe, Adelin Nedialkov - keyboards, Yordan Vassilev - percussion, Kaloyan Nikolov - drum, Borislav Alexiev - kaval.
Despite its short biography, the band managed to gain prestige as one of the most interesting and original student music formations not only in Bulgaria but also abroad. They received many invitations to participate in different student festivals and forums in the years 2017-2018.
On October 10, 2017, with the song "Mish Mash", the Student Musical Formation "JARAVA" will play during the opening of the World Championship of Wrestling, hosted by city of Plovdiv.
The motto of the Student Musical Formation "JARAVA" is:
'' You never get a dream without getting a chance to make it happen! ''
Students' Musical Formation '' JARAVA '' at Plovdiv University '' Paisii Hilendarski '' thanked everyone who gave them a chance to realize their dream!
