Tari was definitely the MVP of this movie. Yes, she's a shy crybaby, kind of wimpy, and often doubts herself, but when push came to shove, her intense love for her friends combined with her clever insightful hacking skills ended up being vital in a way no one expected. Meggy was always there to encourage her in the past, but now, Tari returns the favor in a huge way. I also loved how she acted as the "eye" in Meggy's hurricane of anger, fear, confusion, and paranoia. (The way poor Meg was being psychologically tortured was freaking gut-wrenching I almost couldn't watch.) Tari was there to aid her in her weak spots and calm her down, which she REALLY needed because as tough as Meg is, she's still very emotionally quick to fly off the handle, which the villain easily preyed on. Our favorite Australian, duck-loving, cyborg gamer was a straight up GOAT

I like how Axol and Desti being there was the first major tipoff to the audience that something's *very* wrong. (If you don't count the livestream & previous episodes) For starters, Desti's been dead for 4 YEARS. Her death finished off the arc that changed everything, and was a major moment for Meggy's character. If Desti shows up *alive,* and *no one but Tari bats an eye,* you know something's up. Axol's death was a similarly pivotal moment for Melony, and the latter half of the arc he died in pretty much *revolved* around his slow deterioration and death at the hands of SMG0. He had a heartwrenching goodbye and everything, for crying out loud! I especially like the twist on "Oh, this character is alive, that's amazing" and then it turns out it's too good to be true, and bad things happen. Here, them being there at all and no one reacting is the *clue* that something's wrong, rather than the thing that's wrong itself.

honestly this has given Meggy the best character development yet by far imo. Being Tari teacher trying her best to help her,her friendship with mario,and situation with wren backstabbing their friendship all amazing. Honestly Wren is probably one of the best antagonists in a long time before smg3 and waluigi. I feel like SMG4 is going much stronger this year after the end of the waluigi arc.

Everything about this movie went all in perfection: 1: Meggy and Tari's relationship shows to be alot stronger and more creative, it's good to see that neither died since they were the main characters for this movie. 2: desti and axol showing up still brings back our memories from the old times. 3: one shot wren being the major reason for this short arc but still pulls off as a great villain for in just a 52 minute film. Aside from any of these, I wonder what happens with the TV adware and what It might do next, looking back at what it made SMG4 do for his "PERFECT" video and returns to make meggy it's next target, it still could be around for more misery it would want to cause.

I really love how just plan evil Wren is. And the amount of fear that comes from him simply saying "draw" is spine chilling. As a sucker for Westerns, I went into this really hoping for a standard Wild West story where all the characters were standard Western tropes. When I started realising it was more of a psychological horror, I was a bit disappointed, but that quickly faded and I now realise this was an insanely good story about Meggy and Tari’s relationship and the Western touch was a really nice bonus on top of this fantastic movie. Also that title art is so good. Something so fitting about SMG3 being a demolitionist and Bob being a wild gunman.

This might honestly be my favorite SMG4 movie simply because of how clever it was. Meggy being against her idol in a real gun fight was an interesting twist, and Tari being the only one who could stop the simulation was pure genius! The dynamic between Tari and Meggy was heartwarming and beautiful. I also liked how the simulation was foreshadowed in the previous SMG4 episode. Everything about this movie was BRILLIANT! This is why I keep tuning in to watch SMG4 videos because he never shys away from creative and new ideas!

@@Basmud In the SMG4: Babies episode, I've seen plenty of comments blaming One Shot Wren for what he did in this movie, and while it is true that what he did was evil, the same can be said about SMG4 when he got possessed by the keyboard, but in that movie, Meggy was able to realize that SMG4 would never do all of the insane things he "did", which led to the castle getting destroyed.

My predictions on what the changes might be: 1. Meggy might make less appearances due to her getting the development she needed. 2. Longer and more puzzle-like stories as opposed to the traditional month long arcs from before 3. Characters like Melony, Kaizo, Shroomy, Chris, and even the Wario Brothers will get episodes where they have a day in the limelight. (I hope we see the Wario Bros again in future episodes) 4. Peach will eventually be rescued by the characters 5. Melony will finally finish her goal of becoming a manga artist since we saw Meggy graduate a few episodes ago. 6. The TV will obviously return to enact its revenge, possibly targeting Mario

A thing I loved about this movie is that it shows Tari evolve to scared gamer girl to an spectacular person who does save everyone by just using her own experience going into simulations and becoming much tougher. The g mod map showed that tari knew everything was not alright and that’s why we saw bits of her distressed and anxious. This is by far the best piece of media I’ve ever seen 10/10

The twist where ONE SHOT WREN of all people (or Inklings) would be a villain, the shock of seeing Desti and Axol again, Meggy dying over and over again only to be brought back by Tari eventually bringing Meggy to the point of insanity... Man I’ll be honest, this was my favorite SMG4 movie so far, it had a great balance of humorous moments and outright terrifying too. The western gags were on point, and Meggy getting stuck in an endless death loop for a whole month was horrifying! I didn’t think you would be able to make SMG4 have a moment this disturbing, but here we are! This was so much fun to watch, thank you SMG4 and everyone else behind this project!

I just can't describe what a trip this film was. From the oddly mysterious beginning to the heartbreaking finale, this film was something I hadn't felt in a long time. SMG4 is the channel where every Saturday night (In my time zone) I can sit back and enjoy a perfect mix of memes, comedy and emotional story. For someone who has been watching this channel for years and has seen many characters come and go through the years, it is always a beautiful experience to see something more of this world. I think this was the best movie they made so far, it's really crazy that they gave a seemingly one-off character a whole arc in one movie. (I meant wren, Meggy kind of had her arc when she won the Splatfest) you can really tell that they learned from there past movies and arcs which had relatively low stakes, but they amped them up to 100 in this one and I can't wait to see what comes next from that "TV guy" this diffidently seems like the new big bad, and I can't wait to see what happens next. And I'm specifically excited to see theories people will come up with.

I highly doubt that there will be ANY redemption. This was Wren’s fate. He was never a good guy. Plus the mysterious TV character was probably his creation, meaning he was also responsible for the destruction of Peach’s Castle. Now both Wren and his TV minion are permanently dead.

This movie was a huge masterpiece and it actually gives Tari a huge jump in character development. I really like how they fit a western theme and a simulation theme all at once! I also really like how Desti and Axol were there but when Meggy looks away it gives the 'i was never there' vibe. And it was very emotional towards the ending and I just loved it!!!
