The episode starts at the Mario Bros. house, while it's raining outside. Mario, Luigi, Bob, Tari, Melony, Fishy and Meggy are watching a movie (Just a clip of Mike Wazowski "bringing down the whole house") when something breaks. Meggy inspects it, and sees Mario tried to fit a plate of pasta into the DVD player. He's napping when Meggy interuppts him. Things get heated fast, with Meggy tossing Mario against a wall, with the "Nice throw!" sound from Wii Sports. This is the last straw for Mario, who says this: "Alright, that's it. I've been the butt monkey punching bag FOR THE LAST 8 MONTHS, and that, Meggy, was the last straw! If you folk hate Mario so much, I'm going!" Mario then storms out of the house, tossing his hat on the bed. Luigi is concerned, as is Tari. Melony is snoozing away, and Bob just shrugs it off. "Eh, he's probably going to a food court or something." Meggy also tries to shrug it off, but gets a bad feeling about her actions. The next day, the sun comes up, and Luigi greets Mario..Only to find Mario gone from the bed, his hat still there. He phones SMG4, who's reading twitter posts. "Hey Luigi, what's up?" "Have you seen Mario? He stormed off last night, and I thought he crashed at the castle." "Uhh..No. I haven't seem him since yesterday.." Luigi thanks SMG4, and hangs up. Luigi then grabs a fedora and coat, as the title card "Luigi: Private investigator" appears. "I've got a list of people who'll lead me to Mario eventually..This case may be tougher to crack than a nut." And that's all for Part 1!

Luigi gets out of his kart, heading to Saiko's apartment, where Saiko and Kaizo are practicing. Luigi clears his throat, to get attention. K: "Oh look, it's the green guy. What do ya want? Gonna preach about friendship to me again?" L: "I mean no harm, Kaizo. Just wanted to ask a question, that's all." S: "C'mon, let's hear out Luigi." L: "Well, Mario's gone missing, and-" K: "The guy I decapitated when I got outta the game?" L: "Yes, and he's missing!" S: "Eh, not a big deal. I mean, considering his track record..But you do have my condolences on your search, Luigi. We haven't seen him here, but I did see something at 11PM out the window..It looked like someone without their headwear.." L, voice over, like in a detective movie: "A lead, at last. There's only one person without their hat at this current moment. Mario. From the direction Saiko pointed, looks like I'll be visiting Tari next." Luigi goes outside, and back down the stairs to his kart, driving it to Tari's house. At Tari's house, Melony and her are hanging out, playing a video game that's relaxing. Smash cut to them fighting zombies in the game. The doorbell rings, and Tari answers it. Luigi steps in, and asks if they've seen Mario. The two show shock that Mario is missing, and volunteer to hang missing posters for Mario. As Melony hangs up a poster in the city and runs to hang up another one, a mysterious N64 figure takes the poster down, crumples it up, and walks to opposite direction from Tari and Melony. Luigi, on his search for Mario, enters a club in town called "The weeb's club." L, voice over: "The place seemed to be a hub of scum and those anime fanboys, but I had to go in..For Mario's sake." Luigi eventually finds Fishy and Bob B: "Oh yeah boi!" F: Simping intensifies L: " 'Scuse me folks, but have you seen Mario?" B: "That guy? Hell no, he ruins everything he touches! Not like Mari-chan! With any luck, they sent him to the looney bin!" Cut to an anime girl dressed like Mario, who does the breakdancing cat meme L, voice over: "Mario's reputation wasn't quite doing him any favors. But Bob did mention the looney bin. I heard it recently opened at the ol' Spaghetti factory Electric Boogaloo plant. Perhaps something's there that can help me find Mario." And that's it for part 2!
