There’s a lot I disagree with here. Boba is able to lead the team of Bounty Hunters during the Clone Wars and they respect him as their leader. It is canon that Boba surpasses Cad Bane following the Clone Wars because although the episodes where they fight never got made, the unfinished concept is acknowledged in the Bad Batch because Bane has a plate on his head. Boba also is shown in his prime in the canon marvel comics set during the original trilogy. You also seem to forget the stuff that Boba did do in his show and in the Mandalorian. You are correct that he isn’t trying to be a bounty hunter but I don’t really think that detracts from his effectiveness as one and nothing in those shows detracts from his skill as a bounty hunter. As for Dengar, you realise he got knocked off the train literally first and Boba was the last one standing with Ventress. He also wasn’t with the crew when they faced Dooku, seemingly he was replaced with Embo. Also why are we mixing legends and canon continuity’s with Dengar but not with Boba? Your argument about us seeing Aurra and not just hearing about her doesn’t really work in-universe because there is a reason that Boba is considered the top dog during the reign of the empire even if we haven’t necessarily seen it on-screen.

honestly, I'm just going off of my knowledge of Star Wars cinema for this list. I totally understand there's a lot of content out there depicting Boba in his prime like the comics, but I was trying to focus as much as possible on on-screen appearances. The part about Dengar being with the team that fought Maul was a mistake in my scriptwriting, I guess I didn't rewatch that episode closely enough. That's my bad. Also, I'm not really sure I understand why you think my argument for Aurra Sing is invalid. Preciate you watching the video and taking the time to comment.

I believe he’s referring to the fact that for the same reason you invalidated Bobas rep, you Validated aurras. Plus you have a lot more mistakes that just the Dengar 1-3. For instance 2 are Bane didn’t get topal to open the holocron, and he didn’t kill Cobb, it’s specifically stated he was shot not killed and even says later he survived. The deputy was killed.

@@MasterrEli to be fair to you, if you were talking about Maul, Dengar was definitely there. For some reason I thought you said Dooku which is the fight from Dark Disciple. However Dengar doesn’t particularly do much in that fight either. He is off somewhere with Latts Razzi and then lays down some cover for Sugi and Embo to escape. I guess it seems like you are being super charitable to Aurra Sing but not really consistent with Boba. Book of Boba Fett wasn’t good and I get that but I don’t really think it invalidates Boba’s status as the best in the galaxy in his prime. A young Boba just flat out beats Bane and then an older Boba outsmarts Bane and kills him. This to me is kinda saying Boba>Bane for the majority of the canon. I also forgot to add that Aurra Sing is somehow killed by Beckett which doesn’t do her any favours.

@@MasterrEli during the Empire strikes back Boba gets followed by IG-88 and he knows that and later kills him setting a trap and even in the comics, Boba Fett has fought Bossk and defeated him. and has even fought against Darth Vader in the comics so how is he not ranked higher and his weapons are so powerful he was one of the strongest bounty hunters and you put him this low ranked is dissapointing.

@@MasterrEli and also Boba during the episode aimless he was able to be one of the people to survive on the train beat up those Kage Warriors and survive where is was only him and Asajj Ventress, was trained by Jango Fett himself, when he died he was trained by Aurra Sing. his armor is also really strong able to take double bolts to the helmet from Cad Bane that's why boba has that dent in his helmet

Jango Fett was better than Cad Bane then Bane became top dog when Jango died. Plus he killed with his BARE HANDS and Cad learned everything about being a bounty hunter from him. I think Jango should’ve been ranked 1 and Cad Bane as a very close second.

I don't see it... Jango got ass whooped in a millisecond by Mace Windu. However, Cad Bane would of lasted longer. Like he mentioned in the video. Cad Bane destroyed both Master Quinlin and Master Kenobi and could have very easily killed them both. Even in Cad Banes older age, he kept up with a younger and much more experienced Bobba Fett and again only lost cause he let his guard down and got to cocky

I do not agree with Boba being that low on the list. His cinematic apearances should be considered irrelevant as he is usually a side character. BOBF was fucking stupid thats just Disney though. Treading water lightly as always; Boba used to skin wookies as a hobby in the comics and was the one who informed Vader he had a son (unintentionally). Mando gets his ass kicked a lot too so I'm not sure why he has a higher spot on this list tbh. If we are ONLY considering cinematic canon....

The IG droid in the mandalorian is IG-11, not IG-88. I decided to leave IG-11 out just because we don’t see much of him operating as a bounty hunter in the mandalorian show, rather he’s just protecting grogu and all that

Cad Bane is not the best. “Only lost because of his overconfidence”. Ok? That’s his entire character. Let’s look at that fight specifically. Boba just got done fighting for what I can assume is a few hours is an intense gunfight, getting shot multiple times beforehand. Bane was at the very least 90% (probably 100) because the dude didn’t fight at all. And then he comes out to duel boba after all that? That’s supposed to be fair and impressive? Bane is #3 or #4. Jango is #1. Let’s scratch my reasoning above and say Bane lost due to plot. Ok, but then you can argue hard that all of his CWs wins are heavy plot to. There’s 0 reason Bane doesn’t get insta pasted by 2 Jedi masters. Later in the season, he does get beat by Anakin only to be saved by Kenobi in disguise. It makes no sense and only explained by silly plot reasons. It’s basically Filoni favoritism. He loves Cad Bane and won’t just kill him off, even if it makes 0 sense for him to be alive in scenarios he’s in. I don’t hate cad bane, I just extremely hate how he’s portrayed and his feats are always so unexplainably dumb. Don’t get me wrong, it’s rampant everywhere in Star Wars (I.e. Jango somehow beating Jedi in H2H?). But it needs to be explained IMO.

We don’t really get many appearances from the assassin droids, and the one in the mandalorian show isn’t working as a bounty hunter. So for those reasons, I left them out. Same with the other droids that appear in the Empire Strikes Back. Was there some I forgot?

The only assassin droid that gets significant screen time is IG-11 from the Mandalorian series, and he operates mostly as Mando's partner to protect Grogu, and not as a hunter.

Zam Wesell is underrated. She helps save an entire planet from mass destruction, saves Jango Fett’s life from Komari Vossa, and is one of the best sharp shooters in the galaxy. She is trained by the Mabari so her warrior skills are top notch. She was manipulated/used by Dooku and Jango in AOTC, so it’s not fair to only judge her for her failure there, especially when the chosen one and Obi-Wan were the jedi after her

I simply don’t understand why everybody loves to shit on boba now, nearly anytime any one brings him up it’s ALWAYS something bad. Yes, the book of boba fett made him look like some old veteran of ww2 but even besides that? Have you read the comics ? Boba is by FAR number 1 and easily wins against cad bane even not in his prime. The boba hate is unnecessary at this point, we get it , tbobf was a flop and the sarlacc pit was a cheesy way to go, but that’s only because George Lucas didn’t see the importance of boba at the time. Plus, it must be said boba has killed numerous Jedis, which is something not many bounty hunters can do. Overall Boba gets a 10/10 imo, followed up by Cad bane jango and bossk

for this video, I was just focusing on appearances in movies and star wars tv shows alone. In my opinion, Boba's just not that great. As I said, kid boba is annoying to me, and George never gave boba the opportunity to do something cool. I don't think I ever denied Boba was good, rather we just don't see it.
