The look on Rudd's face when the announcer stopped the interview. Looks Like Ricky had more that he wanted to say.

Nascar would kill for a crowd half this size now. Thanks Brian France!

It felt more like an event when they ran the Brickyard on Saturday

I appreciated Ricky a lot because of that victory lane interview. What a cool thing

I don't think Ernie irvan enjoyed talking to the media. He seems very shy and semi annoyed with the interviews. That could be because he was losing his ride at the end of the year and his mother was ill. Poor Ernie just never materialized into what he could have after the near death in 94.

On the flip side, a lot of people forget just how hated Irvan was in the garage area in the early '90s. He was considered unsafe by other drivers because of numerous incidents. If anything, his crash at Michigan and recovery did a lot to recuperate his image.

Mid 80s to early 2000s were the best cars of all time

Nascar drivers today can’t hold a candle to guys like Ricky Rudd. He may not have won as much as some of them, but none of them today can touch his grit, determination and toughness

It got painful the deal they made about her every week. Alot of those guys had beautiful wives but damn they made a big deal about them.

I was there in turn 4 with my late father and brother. The crowds were huge back then.

I was a Rudd fan, i remember watching this in Oc Maryland and then wearing my Tide shirt down to the beach, a few people said "hey your man won!". I sure miss the good old days of NASCAR

This is when NASCAR was great & non-political! I miss it!

>non-political You can always tell it's a Trump supporter when shit like this gets said.

Now that PENSKE owns the speedway and Indy Car.... maybe the crowds will come back and I think the NASCAR race is secured as well...
@WhoopityDoo4 жыл бұрын
The fans aren't coming back. The '08 tire debacle killed that. On top of that, the spectacle of racing at Indy is over and people realize how shitty stock cars at Indy are, nevermind the fact that fans have been leaving NASCAR in droves over the last 15 years (thanks, Brian France).
