Hey everyone its RA your fledgling trucker: Its called the WIOA PROGRAM the government does give grants for trucking school each state is mandated to have this program. The eligibility criteria is different for every state. Illinois is very strict. It is true after trucking school you still got to go thru training at any trucking company that hire you which means you gonna have a mentor that you gotta ride with. I think its good and bad with everything but if you love trucking shit do what you gotta do.

Went to private school thru a community college with guaranteed loan from the CDL school. Cr England still made me do the 3 months with 2 trainers. I did notice they treated the 3 of us who came with our CDL to Richmond, IN a lot better than the guys going through the school at orientation. I will never forget that February in Indiana 🥶 ❄️ learning how to back in the lot😂😂

TB I’m new to trucking and because of the school I went to (CREngland) I have it drilled in my head turn left for it to go to the right, and right for it to go to the left, and this has gotten me into a lot of problems early on. Any suggestions on how I could correct this issue?
