The transition from "strangers wherever I go" is so good. You get the stunning performance of the original opening with a seamless cut to the continuation from the end of the show. Excellent.

Nostalgic anime from late 90's. The lyrics depict a bipolar or an introvert person trying to overcome his/ her loneliness by talking with strangers on the countryside and learned that most people are kind after all.
@NellenelleForSure2 жыл бұрын
I don't know about the bipolar or introvert part. Nothing in the song implies such at all. Anger isn't even mentioned for you to get bipolar. This song literally applies to everyone going through growing pains. The average person first experiences loneliness by being a misfit in school. If they weren't a misfit then it's when their friend circle changes throughout the grades (middle school to high school) , usually when most people move away. Then it happens again in college and this time you're away from your old friends and away from family. Fast forward to transitioning from childhood to adulthood and living alone for the first time. Traveling alone for the first time. And doing any of these things while possibly dealing with heartbreak (romance isn't the only thing that breaks our hearts) or anything else that causes a person not to trust people. To become jaded by society after witnessing too much unkindness even if not personally a direct victim of cruelty. It applies to everyone. We all feel low, are in need of compassion, and don't know where to get it. We don't even see it as a realistic expectation. That's why it's surprising and uplifting when kindness does come our way. We often know we can't trust our families with our problems and it ends up being a stranger to give us the understanding or encouragement we need. Can't help but be grateful after that. Source: The cast fo Yu Yu Hakusho itself and me being an extrovert and this being one of my favorite songs of all time ☺️. Strangers always make my day, and remembering it gives me strength to give grace to the ppl screwing it up.

But if you think about yu yu hakusho’s plot. It’s the protagonist walking around as a spirit finding out he died saving a kid on the street. How now he has to fight in the spirit realm to come back 😢😭 I didnt kno it when i was a kid. I just thought it was sick how they fought lol. Not knowing the protagonist’s mission

Yu yu Hakusho is the first anime I ever watched when it first aired in the US. It hits such a nostalgic bone in my body that I rewatch it at least once every few months. I was told by a coworker that HxH was made by the same guy and I checked it out. It has now become my second favorite anime ever. Togashi has a way of creating characters that we feel for and want to see succeed or die depends who you like. But I hope one day if I have a kid I can show them yu yu and HxH. Hopefully by then HxH has come out with more episodes after the ant arch. I want to see Gings power in action on mt screen and not just imagine it.

I remember when I watched the last episode of YuYu and this version was playing. I was wowed at how awesome it sounded. I was so sad, because somehow I knew YuYu wouldnt ever continue, and this would be the last original new episode I would ever see. Yusuke telling Kaiko that he could dump the ocean on her was so cool. Then when I saw "FOREVER, FORNEVER" on the screen, I cried, bro. But then I found the OVA's, and I was super happy for a little bit. But then when I saw it all, then I was super sad again.
