They came out with a ton of heavy-hitting bands, they toured a ton and did decent but were labeled as a one hit wonder because only one track was advertised"bottom of the bottle"

I can't believe that he's singing my life. My father committed suicide when we were young due to depression. But before that my mom was always mocked by our relatives because we're poor as rat. And now here I am and soon to be a father. All I wanted will be a better story and I don't want the past to happen again

I can listen to this song in 2019 and Smile now. I made it past a lot of dark times in my life, because of Smile Empty Soul's music through out the years. I tried to see them live in December 2009 in Seattle at El Corazon, but they had to cancel due to weather, and I never got to see them, here we are 10 years later. I hope I get to see you guys someday.

When this song came out I felt that it was my anthem. My mom completely ruined me with religious fear and rapture lullabies. The end is near. My dad had just died and I felt like he had given up on life. No one put him in the ground but himself. Feeling too much will make you want to give up. I know that now. Anyway, this song made me feel stronger. Like I wasn’t alone, even though every day I fought not to feel that way. As an obnoxious teenager I played this song over and over and over. People hear this song and they think of me and I love that music can imprint like that. Years later I am grown with kids of my own and listening to this takes me right back to those days. It’s bittersweet. I will forever love this song with all my heart. ❤️
