I would also like to add that even though I don't agree with Smile Empty Soul's particular views on war, I can still listen to their music and enjoy it. No, I don't agree 100% with my leaders. No one ever should. That's blind, closed-minded ambition. But to say that quitting the military will start the peace process? Come on, that's just narrow and unenlightened. War has been going on since man learned how to fight. It won't ever stop. So sit back and enjoy the music, and your freedom.

Something most people will never realize is that sacrificing your body is one of the easiest parts about being a soldier. Sacrificing your heart, your mind, your soul and your family.......thats the part that really destroys soldiers.
@bloodyheartofmine12 жыл бұрын
You know, reading the comments alone, that is a perfect example of why there will never be peace. There won't be peace as long as people have emotions. And peace isn't even the real point to this video. Go back and watch it again. It’s sacrifice. "I wanted to be so much more, but this is war." They sacrifice and risk their own futures for ours. That alone gives me extreme respect for all soldiers.

No matter what you've thought of SES, this song is not only good, it's important. War becomes more unnecessary the more progressive a person becomes. The way to truly cure the world from war is not to destroy rich people, destroy religion, eliminate ideology or emotion. Educate people, and progressiveness will cure the rest.
