I remain the opinion Catnap is not evil but he become bad because he was the lonely member of the group and he was emarginated by the other smiling critters because they was scared of him except Dogday,he always try to help or join him to the tragic end (the hour of joy) sadly this help the prototype to manipulated him. And we don't forget the Theo's personality inside him because If you note in more episode or shorts he says "You are the Catnap weak and small,I am Theo,the Catnap of fear and desperation who served our angel of salvation,the prototype!". But in the end I say Catnap is a victim not a monster.
