The Friendship Band of Paangkriang Friendship School, guided by Siam Paite, Music and Sports in charge, and supported by Sunbird Trust and Furtados Music, was born from The Music Academy, which has thrived since 2019. Equipped with over 80 musical instruments and honed skills, these dedicated young musicians unite through music to create melodies that inspire and foster peace.
Their latest track ‘Smile’ captures the essence of peace through education, inspiring our students to become voices of harmony and unity. At Sunbird Trust, we believe that education lays the groundwork for lasting peace, and this song celebrates the boundless hope and joy that our students bring into the world.
As we celebrate ‘Cultivating a Culture of Peace,’ let’s remember that peace starts with a ‘SMILE’!"
