fun fact about this season : this season was made as a response to the tsunami/earthquake that happened in japan in 2011. and it was made to help cheer up kids and teach them that every expression/emotion that exists is valid/ok. speaking of the tsunami/earthquake that happened in japan, toei made a commercial after the tsunami/earthquake that features every precure from futari wa to suite and it was a love letter to all the people who suffered and lost their families daring the event. this fact truly explains that this season is called "Smile! Precure" for a reason. and is the reason why miyuki Is called "Cure Happy".

I only came to know of Glitter Force a year after I started watching Pretty Cure in chronological order (it took me about a year to get caught up with Delicious Party Precure, which was airing at the time on ep 25). I know a lot of people hate Glitter Force because it's majorly edited from Smile Precure, but the only major problem I saw with it was that it just had a lot of baseless filler (which, frankly, Smile Precure had that issue too). Glitter Force was what introduced me to the Precure franchise, so I frankly don't regret watching it first. I just feel like there's a whole lot that could have been done better. Then again, the same can be said for Smile Precure.

Sadly Glitter Force was a Hack 4kids dub, and kids need to know serious stuff even with happy stuff. Heck, Disney gets away with it all the time. Glitter Force needs something closer to the original, as it wasn't even that bad and it's okay for kids to look at. I mean look at Sailor Moon and Sugar Sugar Rune, although Sailor Moon's dub did have some "Awkward moments". Anyway, it should have something closer to the original.

I couldnt afford cable to watch anything that was cool, so when my sister who was in high school showed this to me, I was blown away. even as a guy I loved this when I was young. now I live with the fact that I used to have a magical girl phase lmao. I watched the first episode of glitter force just to see how much they changed it. And OH. MY. GOSH. They changed half of the stuff that was from the original! They darkened the transformation scene (my least favorite change they made for glitter force). And they cut out some scenes too! I know this is not a glitter force video but some people are talking about glitter force here. I hope in the future, we might get another dub for Smile! and the other PreCure’s without half the episode being changed

The glitter force theme doesn't sound bad it's actually pretty good but the "glitter force" theme sound like if it was made a cartoon like lolirock and Winx.

I listened to it and I agree, it sounds good but it doesn’t fit the theme of the show, the same doesn’t apply to the Smile Precure opening (for context, in the version of this opening with credits, it shows the lyrics in English and how to pronounce them, so you can actually read them as you listen along). The smile precure op actually fits the series, while Im expecting the glitter force theme to have a lyric about “the power of friendship”
