The fact that Lorne assumes Angel has puppet cancer is hilarious, but kinda true. Angel took over Wolfram & Hart throughout the majority of the show's 5th and final season. He sorta became a puppet to the Senior Partners, ever since he became CEO of the LA branch. Fortunately, in the last 2 episodes of the show, he is now back to being a hero.
