I felt like “I’ll miss you” was from Ness to the player. We are the ones who were with him from the first knock to the last prayer. We were with him in Magicant and saw his earliest memories. The kids can see each other anytime, but this is where our journey together ends.

Mr. Itoi Not only did you manage to create one of the best RPG games, but you also managed to revolutionize the field of gaming in general. Giving more importance to the section of telling a good story than simply making an old-fashioned RPG game. Thanks to you, a boy named Toby, inspired by your work, created Undertale, and other independent developers inspired by Undertale created more similar games. This is the greatest RPG ever created, from the music, to the gameplay, the story, the weird parts, the scary parts, but most importantly, the characters and their dialogue. Grown-ups have done so much more stuff than me There's many things that I still want to see Now I take my backpack to the world and fill it with memories My favorite base-ball cap rests on my head My worn out sneakers, faded white and red My own guitar pick, shiny and clear Safe in my pocket, right here Though sometimes I got sad and almost cried You were right there with me, by my side I knew we were friends to the core But maybe it was something more Together we walked that road for so long We laughed, we played, we got hurt, we grew strong When taking short-cuts, and getting lost I learned what I’d known all along That even if you can’t put faith in those Who you meet, and lose, and love, and hug Over-all, you just can't give up Believing in your friends And just by being there, you've woken me Just by being who you’d always be Now I see, you helped me to know The stronger, happier me Because Like a gentle breeze, through the grass and the pine trees You always wore a smile Now we, who shared our Smiles and Tears... ...I miss you... I can’t even describe how much I love earthbound in words, the story, characters, and music were all perfected. I seriously could talk about earthbound for hours just because of how much I love the game and it’s wacky characters. When I finally got to the final stage of the Giygas fight where Paula kept praying, I felt worried that they were going to loose it all, and when the game mentioned the that me, the player was praying as well, I got really emotional because I wasn’t just the player, I was helping Ness and his friends along the way. By the time Giygas was defeated, I was in tears and I was so happy to see that Ness and his friends were safe and that their world was back to normal, thanks to the help of me. I had never played any RPG games in my life, but earthbound will forever be my favorite since it gives me memories of watching my brother play it on the mini snes years ago. I am currently playing Earthbound Beginnings and still have to find a copy of Mother 3, but besides Rhythm Heaven, earthbound is the best series that nintendo has ever made. Also Everdred may be gone, but he’s still one of my favorite characters in the game.

EarthBound truly loves the idea of being a kid. It feels great to feel like a kid on a grand adventure you always imagined yourself as. Going back to EarthBound feels like you get to travel back in time to be that kid you used to be again. I'm glad they brought back EarthBound to the Nintendo Switch SNES online it gives new players that feeling that they might have missed before.

I think the creators of South Park said the same thing, about the whole vibe of the mother games in general, and how they were inspired by the series. Really makes you think about the effects of such good things like Earthbound and the Mother series.

@@NubbitDoesStuff. Can't believe the creator of such a p@%nographic offensively racist show got inspired by masterpiece...

I accidentally fell asleep to this song after beating it for the first time, and i missed the part where it says “I miss you.” and now, relistening to it, i’m like, “what? was that always there? can they do that on a snes?” Also my friend is giving me his gba tomorrow, so i can play mother 3 finally!
