Yes thanks but the Dementia is getting worse. I not willing to go restaurant now unless someone else comes along. I'm so lucky that I can get people in to sit with her so I can get out.

I learned from another video that those works at 9:25 are where Crossrail comes above ground and joins the main line.

For a couple of fairly short stops at Ealing Broadway you did very well for freight Keith! 66716 on Ferrywagons was Grain to Llanwern steel empties. The construction between Paddington and Old Oak Common would have been for Crossrail. I know lots don't like the IET's, but that pair leaving Paddington left like a scolded cat, much faster than a HST.

Yup and I gotta admit the speed of the new trains is very noticeable. Even on the Heathrow train I travelled on ewe were going so fast some of my through the window stills were blurred, Thanks for the info.

Hi Keith, nice run down to the “Smoke” & Ealing Broadway. Q, why did you double back to Ealing? Pre- electrification when I last visited, good selection of freight/passenger action 👍🏻 Thanks for Sharing

Well I'm lost for words. I have a camera at the front and rear of my house co's I'm 80 and scared of being attacked. I have a body cam and a wrinkly old face and anyone can video me if they want to break their camera. I have video shots in station buffets and ticket offices and all over the place. Most people love it Especially the ladies. They pose for a shot. Lets all carry on being filmed on busses, trains, streets, shopping centres car cams etc. The police beg for people to come forward if the can help solve a problem. Me no worry, if they jail me I'll post a video of my court case and the prison I go to so you can all come and visit me...BUT No cameras please. lol All your postings appreciated.. Now lets drop it. Thank you

In Rail magazine the police are appealing for video and pictures that the general public may have taken on Nottingham Station on the day of the recent fire,

I don't want to be a killjoy here, but I think you need to be very careful, and consider stopping, this filming of people on trains and the platform. Data privacy laws are changing from the end of May this year under something called GDPR and then video and CCTV are included as restricted material.
@MrStapletonRoad
@MrStapletonRoad 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Simon, I do filming in public and i thought the law said you need permission of an individual before being filmed but general shots e.g. a train arriving at a station or a sporting venue were not considered in the same light. If you have a link to the legislation it would be appreciated.
@MalcolmCrabbe

Technically railway stations are not public places, they are owned and operated by the railway companies, and anyone filming should inform the station manager what and where they will be and to be granted permission. Most staff have no problem with "trainspotters" but they do have the right to ask you to leave or stop filming. - The subject of filming people in such places is still a grey area, especially if they are not the primary subject, but I would agree that the section at the end of the video whilst Keith walks half the length of the train recording other passengers could have been edited out in respect of their privacy

The issue could come actually from someone seeing themselves in the film and asking to be removed or blanked out. But thanks for your input. I watch all of Keiths videos and I'm not being awkward, but privacy is going to become a hot topic this year.

Interesting, but theoretically where do you draw the line, so to speak. With Social media being at the forefront of our everyday lives today, going to be damn hard to enforce, that’s for sure! Understandably personal privacy needs addressing.

Hi Malcolm, I here what you are saying about railways not being public places, but i think they are generally regarded as public places such as town squares, owned by councils. Concert Halls museums. I am all for a persons privacy and if someone pointed a camera in my face i would be a tad affronted however, applying a reasonable ammont of proportionality i would ask, with the popularity of mobile phone cameras, dash board cams, Go pros etc are we not already up to our necks in it ? I think the only answer for those who don't want to be inadvertently filmed whilst in the course of their day to day activities is to wear a hoody.
