Something about Zach’s delivery on certain characters is what gets so many laughs from me. Just the way he’s like “Pee Ess Toooo” as the landlord makes it so much funnier.

For me it's the way he specifically lists off hanging out, smoking weed, filling their bellies with diet soda and playing Burnout: Revenge for the PS2 IN THAT ORDER, like his idea of a good hangout night would be ruined if a single one of those things wasn't going on, or like those three things are the ONLY three things he could possibly tempt somebody to his apartment with and he's just rehearsed listing them off so many times that it's got this weird cadence. I just love that they still did the “Wow, what the characters you weren’t watching did was SO cool!” trope, but what we saw with Alan was legitimately f*cking awesome, so the trope just doesn’t work at all, and it’s hilarious.

This episode is not a prequel Nate, it's a joke that Pim and Charlie go on a another job adventure but it's best one they ever done in years and we the audience never got to see any of it because the whole episode was focused on Allan. In other words we didn't a Pim and Charlie adventure but instead we got "A Allan Adventure".
