Hope you feel better soon, stay hydrated and get some good rest! When i first came across reborns, i leaned very heavily towards sleeping, neutral expression reborns. Those just felt more... realistic? Like you dont excpet a sleeping baby to blink or change position/expressions much? As i got more into it though, especially painting myself, i got more into expressive and awake babies. I like that they feel like they have more personality and character. From the artistic side of things i think i appreciate more expressive kits. From collecting side, i love happy kits a bunch - they just cheer me up Also, .01% 😅👋

That might be the case for me, too! I originally liked peaceful expressions but as I got into the hobby more, and as I became an artist, I really loved expressive ones. Even the pouty babies!

Get well soon! Covid is on the rise, unfortunately. You are already in good spirits and thank you for your video. I personally adore smilies! My favorite is Sebastian and Jupiter kits. Sleeping April is also cute and on my radar. I loves smilies because they always make me smile in return! My son who is a young adult, does not like sleeping reborns for that same reason as you mentioned - says they look creepily dead. But he is actually coming around and started changing his mind, when sees a very well and realistically painted one. Clara is a GREAT name for your Charlie kit. Totally see that name on her 😊 Your sleeping boy - since he is painted by a Russian artist, give him a Russian name. Alexander (Alex) comes to my mind. Vanya is very Russian, for sure (another name option). He even looks Russian with his soft blond curls. Oh, and I love that yellow vintage outfit! Velour for babies in soft pastel colors is my weakness 😅 Enjoy your babies!❤

I’m so glad some of you are commenting that you love smilers! I do, too! I remembered another reason I’ve seen some collectors say they don’t like sleeping smilers….because dmiling babies aren’t realistic since newborns don’t usually smile. I don’t know…I’m still a fan. And I’m glad I’m not alone. We need more! And yes, Sebastian is such a fabulous sculpt. I was lucky enough to paint one and he is so special. Thanks for the name suggestions, I love them 😍!!!

I LOVE April! I always think of her as having angelic dreams! Or gas...but the effect is adorable! It's one of my all-time favorite sculpts! I was lucky enough to find a kit and she's being reborned right now! 🎉❤

I don't have a channel or anything like that. I love to watch reborn videos because they're informative and relaxing. But I don't make them because I don't have a knack for it. Plus, I am incredibly camera shy. 🥴🥴🥴

I went a step further and researched smiling newborn babies. It's considered be a precious moment in time. Also, I read that it's natural and accompanied by cooing or bodily movements. There's nothing creepy about the miracle of a babie's tiny, sweet smile. I hope you're continuing to heal from the Covid😊

I’m sorry you’re sick 😢Hope you’re feeling better soon❤ The babies are adorable though I’m not a huge fan of April for my own collection. Charlie on the other hand I can not get enough of! She looks like a Claire/Clara but Kenzie or Phoebe suits her as well. Maybe Gabriel or Michael for April since he looks so angelic. I love smiling babies. I’m not sure April is very realistic looking to me but I would love to see a sleeping smirking bubs! My son smiled and laughed in his sleep often as a newborn and I found it so enchanting 🧸💙🧸
