I won't lie, seeing this bonkers build makes me very optimistic for the diversity in meta builds. It'd be hilarious if this became meta, but more than that, I'm excited to see how many out of pocket item builds there will be.

I'm hoping the range of diversity will essentially kill the meta concept in this game. Ofc, players are going to min/max, but there should be 2-3 different ways to build each character like this. So, it really mixes up the games. Sure you see Ymir in your lane, but you have no idea what cooky build he might be cooking. So, not all Ymirs/etc are the same. So refreshing for smite.

I just played crit athena jungle and went 20-3. I think all the guardians were missing their true calling as assassins. Honestly one of the most fun 'assassins' I've ever played. Also, the guardian gods just feel a lot better in general. Since everyone has the same base stats and auto attack strength, guardians are allowed to actually box since they have real weapons and not pool noodles (no offense to poseidon)

Playing support but being allowed to clear a buff camp on your own is the real QOL buff we needed

You should try a Zeus ADC build. I've been having a blast with that. I can't wait for them to add more attack speed intelligence items.

Saw that spicy bit they added to Loki's 2 and went tank INT support and it was crazy had like 3 banger games in a row where I had top or close to top assists. Went The Nemes into the Doom Orb looking thing with 145 int, then went eye of the storm, the physical gem of focus like item that looked like the gloves in smite 1, then the blood soaked book then the magical gem of focus and it was just peachy you move so fast with low cooldowns you are very slippery and of course anyone you hit with your 2 is just removed from the teamfight, as they are doing like 30 percent or so less damage and can't friggin see lol

Ok, so I’m in the practice right now, and I notice that there are, out of the dozens of items, only 8 that have mana regen, AND those values they have are VERY low despite the mana costs being about as high as they remain in smite 1… I think A LOT more items should have Mana Regen on them of the highest values thus far are like 8 (when in Smite 1 the values could go up to 20+ MP5).

Mana regen is now per second rather than per 5 seconds. You have to multiply the smite 2 values by 5 to get the smite 1 equivalent.

Big beefy Critmir...you know, that'd make a pretty neat skin. Considering we already got Intestine Ymir, Big Beef Ymir wouldn't be too terrible. The playtests were great, I'm ready for more.

It's crap. The item system is stupid. I can't have potions if I have six items. If I want to start building an item I have to buy three axes and a bow. The item store is clunky as hell (I'm on Xbox). There's no simple way of finding the item you want to build. The enemy team's abilities have longer range than mine. Smite had nothing wrong with the item progression. Why change it? This is clearly representative of the final product and it is sucks!

I totally agree. It's very bad compared to smite. You can't fire an ability if you're holding the trigger down to auto attack.

​@@BGxLokiI play on Xbox and is not bad at all, the actives will use LT+ A or any unused combination with LT like LT+Y or LS(left stick). Thats why potions use a slot in your build, if you have a potion or an active the game will automatically put the potions and actives in orden to use those buttons, that way you always use the same combinations.
