2018 (time of this clip) was when I met Genetics for the 1st time too, at an international LAN we were playing for level 2 pressure with Freya/Cerb, and he shows up with LEVEL 1 pressure as Fen supp and farmed us in scrims. I think it was pretty well known in EU that Insignem (EU chall team) was better than most of the EU SPL teams because we scrimmed a couple EU teams as an OCE team - Genetic's team was the only team where we felt like we had 0 presence/control.

Emilzy was a smart and mechanical player, almost like Genetics before Genetics made it to Pro League.

Casual ranked starts are gonna be in shambles

you can ward even higher than the bush cause you only need to see them cross the ward to know they are there, giving your jungle more time to respond. idk timings but maybe even if jungle is on solo side he can run to duo if they teleport onto the ward?

Omg Emilzy made Support look fun in Smite hope he makes it to Smite 2

Invade is so strong right now that I always startvon a buff. Either mine or the enemy's. Starting on buffs would also help counter proxy because you can rotate over and kill.

Oof hopeing that the casual players wont get that removed is a highy unlikley, s5- to this day has been nothing but removing of content/strategies/forced gameplay due to causals

wave denial still puts you in a bad spot s in this example because then you're stuck starting pillar on anhur and will have to let tower eat the wave and wont have jump till level 3. The red duo takes buffs ymir trades buffs and its essentially even unless something jungle related happens but the anhur has to skill in a unideal way.
@SharksInYaMouth3 ай бұрын
it's turning a terrible start into a below average start. they also won't be able to cut under buffs without being spotted from T2/Anhur. Grab 2 mates and have them be the ones in the bush and you be the anhur - you'll feel insanely safe + deny their cs.

+ you don't lose your xp/gold to the tower, can definitely manipulate it to a good spot with some practice

While dynamic starts are very cool as both a spectator and a player in a competitive setting, I think they are horrible for casual conquest and lower levels of ranked conquest. Asking players to “think critically” about dynamic starts when people screw up the solved starts in smite 1 relatively often is just too much to ask. Expecting players to ward at level 1 and play this rock paper scissors starting battle is a recipe for disaster in the casual queues.

Otherwise, great video and breakdown 👍

@@siphonicfir469 I also agree with this ^. Even in Smite 1/2 with just how to go about the starting camps and rotations people are lost. Never mind them trying to out think their opponent in the first minute without seeing them. I would love for it to be this way but there are to many simpletons in Smite.

The bare minimum for a casual player would be to just clear the wave and not miss the entire wave.
@Nonco-13 ай бұрын
Would there be any situation where duo lane could proxy and then immediately use the teleporter to gank solo level 1?
@SharksInYaMouth3 ай бұрын
You'd probably lose so much and 3 splitting with your solo is just insanely cringe. Probably doesn't even do anything for the lane. + there's so much gold duo side of the map comparatively to solo side.

Do you think if you have decent clear in solo lane doing what DW did and proxying at their Phoenix is worth doing in casuals/ranked (assuming you can path there safely) or do you think proxying without the help of the jungler is too risky or not worth
@SharksInYaMouth3 ай бұрын
I think if you die it doesn’t matter as long as you get the wave.
@ken50403 ай бұрын
Please take this down 😂 You gunna cause chaos in ranked when all the new people try this and die straight away
