They actually didn’t forget earth bending. It’s just difficult to include all 4 elements well in a single kit. Earth bending comes into play in Merlin’s passive. I believe after casting an ability Merlin’s next auto attack within a couple seconds will deal bonus damage and on the skins the auto attack will have earth particles around and I think I noticed some earth particles around Aang when the passive was active. Also when you ult you actually have like a split second to choose which stance you want to go in. You press 4 and then you press 1 for arcane (I think) 2 for fire and 3 for ice.

If you're ahead, you threaten objectives like Gold Fury, Pyromancer, and Fire Giant to force team fights to keep capitalizing on your lead. It's easier to do with friends in the call.

With Merlin's Ult (Element swapping), you can actually force the elements you want to use because there is a 1 second window before you swap elements. By default, you press 4 to start up the swap, then you can press 1 for arcane, 2 for fire, and 3 for ice. Otherwise, your default is arcane to fire to ice and back to arcane.

Aang has a special emote with the skin where he rides the air ball move he created, it's a roaming emote so you can move around mounted on it. if you press the keyboard keys "VXG" you can use it.

Tips for Merlin: -Start Bancrofts for lifesteal. Really good for him -Fire stance is the best. Only downside is it’s very close range -Ice stance is only good until u reach level 10 or 12 for early game wave clear. It falls off for damage mid-late game. -Void stance is really good for engagement and range. -Merlins passive gives his autos extra damage after using an ability. U can build up 3 stacks of this passive (and is the earth bending for aang) -You can choose which stance to use when u ult. After u activate your ult u need to quickly press either 1 for void, 2 for fire, and 3 for ice

My few cents regarding this comment: 1. Bancrofts is optional on Merlin UNLESS he's played in Solo or Carry where he actually needs sustain. No lifesteal build is his meta build in Mid. 2. Fire Stance is for shredding jungle objectives (Fire Giant, Gold Fury) Ice Stance is for Poke, especially good early game burst in laning phase with the bonus damage against slowed enemies Void stance is the best for teamfights because Eclipse has a big range and area while Vortex is his only other CC aside from the knockup in Void Stance Ult

I know some might disagree but an item i do love on Merlin is Gem of Iso for the extra hp so he isnt as squish along with the added slow to all of his abilities due to so many ticking multiple times. this gives him more time to stack abilities on top of one another and makes him really annoying in team fights for the mass slows. this slow does stack with his ice stance for even heftier slows btw.

As a squishy god in solo lane, you always wanna focus wave clear before you try to poke the enemy out. If you clear faster than the enemy, your minions will fuck them up while you poke.

I am very pleasantly surprised by how quickly you've adapted to the game. you have map awareness, you play to the objectives, you roam, you follow engagements, you peel, you know how to play defensive, when to engage on your own and when to pull back. honestly, there are people with hundreds to thousands of games under their belt that still dont have these down at all. Here are some stance tips The way each stance is designed is so that the riskier the stance the more damage you put out Arcane: This one is the middle ground of the three stances but what makes it great is that it has the largest AOEs Fire: This stance put out the most damage but you have to be close to the enemy making it the riskiest. The 2 in fire, shreds protections while the 1 is meant to do the most damage. Ice: This one has the longest ranged attacks making it the safest but it deals the least amount of damage of the three. It’s best at poking at the enemy or getting a final blow when they’re trying to run away. Don’t forget his passive either which charges his basic attack making it do more damage after an ability. It can stack so you don’t have to basic attack right after using an ability to get the effect I hope this helps. Thank you for playing smite I love this game and seeing you play it is amazing.

Little tip fruit, on stance switchers like merlin, its a good idea to not level your ult over the other abilitys as you make more use of those doing more dmg than the aoe dmg from the ult, it does lower its cooldown tho

You can choose what stance (element) you want to switch to when you ult. If you hit your 1, 2, or 3, ability button when you swap stance you can choose which you want to go into. If you select the same one you simply progress linearly (void>fire>ice). If you want to burn them down do void stance (air) to fire stance (fire). If you want range and to slow the enemy, you can go from ice (water) slow to fire to burn down. Always save your teleport to run away. Use ice and build Bancrofts for power and healing. Also, if you don't go Bancrofts first, please build Chromos Pendant. The Mana Regen is really important if you are not grabbing the mana buff. And again, gives you power.

They did include earth. Merlin's passive is that after an ability he next basic is buffed. That buffed basic is shown as a rock added to whatever element he is. If he's in fire stance her shoots a fire rock after an ability.

Aang's Earth bending is on his passive - instead of lightning charging up his next basic attack (which is what default Merlin does) after an ability Aang throws an earthen punch. You can see rocks surrounding Aang whenever his passive is active :)

As a solo main, can I give you some advice? 1) buy Warrior’s Blessing instead of Mage’s. 2) Build bruiser no matter who you are. Trust me, leaning will be so much better if you do this.

My biggest issue with smite back in like 2017 or 2018 was the massive minion damage and mana issues; it's just way too much. Sad that they didn't fix it. Other than that, feels nice to see the variety and your calming gameplay!

The earthbending goes into his passive basic attacks. After every ability you empower a basic attack. Pro tip: when you ult to change stances as Merlin you can change to any element by pressing the corresponding button for that element. You will notice your abilities change when you ult. Also. Only but one point into your ult early for the extra damage. You usually max it third after your 1 and 2. The beauty of Merlin is there are many different play styles. Personally I usually stay in arcane and ice. I only go into fire if someone is in my face.
