I started playing the game 5 years ago, only 5 months Nu Wa came out. And even after all these 5 years I STILL find myself coming back to this video. She was my first main. As a newbie her abilities were just so fun to fire off, and her second form rewarded me for firing them. Her play style was so unique, built on the fundamental of pushing lanes. I'm not going to complain about something they will never change, but that doesn't mean I'll ever forget about her original kit. I don't even consider her the same god any more, her play style was changed completely.

So if I am understanding her passive correctly, using one of the four abilities gives her a bonus based on their elements. But wood doesn't have an associated ability. Instead, Nu Wa always has wood. And when the rest of the elements show up and meet her wood, she lets loose her snake.

Is Lu Bu actually worshipped? I like Lu Bu but I've yet to hear about him being worshipped or a mythological being. I'd actually prefer to see gods and mythical beings from someplace else like Shinto gods(Amaterasu, Susano, Inari,Tamamo no Mae and so on and so forth) or more Mayan gods(y u no quetzalcoatl ?!) oh AND how could they forget my favorite egyptian god Horus? Gilgamesh would also be kind of interesting but don't know how one would to it based on the epic. Oh AND give Hercules his signature bow..oh and oh and oh and. Lu Bu most-likely won't make it into Smite, due to the fact that he was never deified like Guan Yu. A great warrior to be sure, Lu Bu was and is not worshiped by any religion for his deeds, where as Guan Yu is revered to this day in both Taoist and Buddhist religions.

I actually like the new Nu Wa better, even though the old one was better at split-pushing. The passive is the only thing I wish they didn't change, but the ultimate can save you many times in a teamfight, going airborne when low on health and letting allies deal with the squishy Loki f.e., a global ward and being able to secure a kill on a fleeing opponent who is really REALLY low on health. True, the old one was better at split-pushing, but the new one does also fine but on diffrent aspects.

Been awhile since we had a new egyptian god. Set the god of darkness (or the god of evil as he is called in my language) would be cool. A mage with sandstorm themed attacks and maybe some chaos (he is sometimes called the god of chaos as well), sounds awsome. Or Horus the avenger, falcon headed god of war, he would be a really cool warrior, and the game needs more warriors, don't know what his attacks would be like, but im imagening him armed with a khopesh sword. Yeah Horus would be awsome.

Not really. She was actually really weak before being updated. Her 1st skill was annoying in certain cenarios (For example, jungle) that would reset the monsters.... Her Fire skill was also really hard to hit. I remember me and various players using her and hitting 3 flame skills in tries.... And her 4th ability was abused with fenrir. As in, use the ultimate, then fenrir uses his ult, grabs a god and keeps passing throught the walls, making the enemy take up to 2k dmg... And she was a bit of a mess. No one knew how to build her properly. Someone said auto-attacks, others said full AP, some even said full attack speed. In the end, no one knew the right "build" for her after months of her release, and she started diving into the shadows... Forgotten.

Does it seem to anyone else that gods like Nu Wa have better abilities AND passives than old ones? For instance, Artemis's passive grants her 5% crit chance for only 4 seconds, for a max of only 3 stacks. This is almost useless compared to getting a different buff for each ability, plus all buffs after all abilities are used

Daniel Aguilar Well, Ne Zha gets a flat 15% crit chance when his 2 is active. And he can get that at level 1 so he is also one that can crit super early.
