No, it was just a visual bug with spectator mode, Fafnir starts the play transformed and detransforms. You can see his first hammer has the green effect it has when he's transformed

They get the angles by going into the Replays I’m pretty sure, and replays are normally only available in the Ranked modes and sometimes on casuals, I also think that because he works for smite, he’s allowed to access the game files and rewatch any games that are sent in to him
