one of (if not the) best worlds of all time. I mean the story lines all felt so full circle from s7 worlds (which imo is another amazing worlds). I mean Dardez, Nika, Cherryo winning with a reverse sweep (after losing from one s6 & s7) PBM going win win lose lose win in grand finals (the exact lose pattern of s7 vs PK) Lasbra winning on the Pele in the elimination game (having lost on it in his s7 elimination game) Even vaporishcoast ending up on the dragons because of the changes that Genetics forced only to beat him in the finals. I mean I think that this was just such a worlds cycle, really an amazing way to go out.

I loved this set. I am a long-time Dragons fan. They deserved this win. PBM has fought so hard to get across that finish line and for it to be PBM to close out Smite 1 SPL before moving to an entirely new game was....right. it just felt right. He's my GOAT. Will always be the GOAT to me. Across any and all roles. Best SPL tenure and first ballot SPL hall of famer, to me.

You can tell the rest of warriors matured when Genetics made the switch and didn't go for plays that only worked in the regular season when you have next to nothing to lose. To win a championship you have to be in the right mindset which is what he brings to the team. At the end of the day, the difference between the pro players is not mechanics and how good they are at pressing buttons because they all have it, it's the decisions they make, reading the game, helping the team make the right move and being a leader. And this is true for any team sport, not just Smite. That's why Genetics is infinitely better than Jake imo.

​@mattice9083 It's because the crowd kept cheering for Nika. It's not bias. The totem chants didn't really pick up until Semis so there weren't any for Quarters. The crowd was anti warriors, and Fineo wasn't focusing totems, so in the semis that set wasn't too totem important. Nika in the semis was purposefully goofing around at Totem and emoting on it for the crowd, so they were cheering for him over Ferrymen. Then for the finals, obviously the crowd already favored Nika since alot of the crowd didn't want Warriors to win. It's not hard to understand it wasn't bias if you just paid attention to the games tbh

Hayzer was a coach in early years of Smite and he knows what he's talking about. If you actually listened to what he was saying, he was saying on the desk that he didn't like Pele into Thoth here because of how often these mages go into alternate timeline. Which is a super good point, as he elaborated on, Pele dumps everything to kill a carry but she typically dies too, which is useless if she dumps everything to kill them and they just get rezzed. These commenters really need to listen and play the game to understand how it works frfr

I'm confused are skins really that important to most players, the skins I unlocked I got from just random chests and didn't spend a single dime. Just gems that I managed to save up or level rewards.
