This song makes me both happy and very sad at the same time, having gone through a recent break-up with whom I thought was my one true love and soulmate. We actually ended up very much as the couple in the lyrics... as very close friends, with a special place in each other's hearts. Was not my one true love, we are still very close and definitely soulmates of sorts. Love is very very difficult at times.
