Yes. I have one I inherited from my grandfather. He was a train engineer and would fire it out the window of the engine. I have fired it many times. It sounds like a shot gun I show it of from time to time but ask, don't touch the bluing. It's beautiful.

My grandfather chambered an old Winchester lever action in .22 Rem Jet, back in the '60's. It is a fun gun to shoot, but the cartridges expand like a wedge and sometimes they don't eject easily. It was awesome to watch this video. You don't often hear of the Rem Jet.

Wasn't the inserts for the .22 LR and not the .22 Mag?

I think the 22 mag was the most common insert but they did make 22 lr inserts also.

They were all for the 22 LR The 22 mag is a different diameter Bullet / case . Also the aux cylinder was for a 22 LR only.

My 22 jet inserts only except 22 LR. The 22 mag is to large in diameter to fit . I no very little about this pistol thanks for the video

S&W did make very few early aux cylinders in .22 mag. Most of the aux cylinders are .22lr and the inserts that fit the Jet cylinders are for .22lr only. I have heard that the inserts would be too thin to take the mag rounds.
