@@brd376 The begging Jesus to be with us seems unneccessary, since as you say He is always with us. But allow to offer another perspective. Sometimes there is so much pain inside, it acts as a barrier preventing us from feeling His presence. The begging is asking Him to break through the pain and dwell inside. Logically, technically you are correct. Experientially, many doing the begging are in tremendous pain. Rather than pointing out the obvious, pray for their healing so they can feel Jesus

My brothers and sisters, to dwell in the Secret place, we have to die daily. How do we die daily? Read and live by the Word of Truth (Bible) for yourselves, release daily scriptures in the atmosphere to command your day, pray and fast. The enemy has stolen so much from us, and it's time to reclaim our power and authority that God the Father has blessed us with. Find a local church that can guide you to fight your spiritual battles because we wrestle not with flesh and blood. The devil is a whole lie. God will and can make you whole again. This comes with a sacrifice. Give up ourselves (flesh), build that relationship with Him and watch him move. Let us stop leaning on our own understanding. This only leads to destruction (emptiness, loneliness, depression, anxiety, to name a few). Be blessed and keep fighting the good fight.
