I am almost 70yrs old and have a lot of my 1960s and 1970s clothes , from various famous designers including cocktail dresses , evening wear , day wear etc . All are in good condition but way too small for me now and I have thought of having them altered but feel too fond of them in their original state as they bring so many happy memories of those years in London . How would I sell them , I am now based in Britain and the Republic of Ireland . Any ideas please ??

Based on what I've seen off the other videos, a lot of her pieces are original designer things (Dior, Chanel, some couture brands). On top of that, the store is in somewhere in Los Angeles (high rent), has celebrity clientele and she flies all over the state and country just to secure pieces. They are very pricey but that seems justified.
@emmalee8598 жыл бұрын
there's a difference between vintage and designer vintage which is what this store sells. Most of these pieces are by high end designers who dress celebrities and modern prices are probably in line with her own prices.
@amazingabby258 жыл бұрын
Bri Coulter Good vintage is worth it. You can find cheap vintage at a thrift store, but less and less. As time goes on fabric rips, it gets old, and start falling apart. 20 years ago, you could find pieces from the 30-40s, now you never see it. Pieces from the 50s-70s are becoming rarer in thrift stores, and so the pieces left are becoming more vauable. When you buy it online or at store, it's been found, repaired, and taken care of. If you are willing to do the treasure hunt part yourself, you can find vintage on the cheap.
@SheWhoWalksWithLucifer5 жыл бұрын
You can most certainly find affordable vintage! My favorite part is the thrill of the hunt. You either have to dig to find good (true) vintage OR you can easily find it. A lot of etsy people rip customers off by saying stuff is vintage and going to the thrift store and buying vintage inspired stuff. But you can easily find either real vintage or vintage looking things while thrifting. That's what I do so i can save money while looking good doing it 😉
