The 7 rd mag for the shield takes some effort to seat, wish I would’ve bought a bunch of 8rd mags before the pandemic.

It's the spring in the magazine causing that. Get the magguts spring it'll be easier and adds plus 1

If you store all of your pistol magazines fully loaded, it will help with loading later! Also most defensive gun uses will rarely go past two-three rounds, although you might need all seven. Do not miss.
