I am looking at this RTT myself, awesome video. What I do not like about the low racks is that if a larger truck hits you in back of truck, that tent is coming through cab with you possibly injuring back passengers and even folks in front. I like higher racks for that reason. Great instructional video!

One of the best video reviews and installs I have come across. A little concerned with the work it takes to install the rain fly with the poles each time. Not so sure I like zippers versus the Velcro, especially in desert environments. Great job and a handsome assistant.

Awesome video. We just got the Overlander xl and just installed the rsi smart cap and was wondering how to install the crossbars on the tent as the directions are confusing. Great video.

Hrmm I wonder if that would fit with no overhang on my long bed Taco 🤔 iKamper is too big I think, the mini fits but is imho too short. It’s just my boy and me but having some space is nice. Also not sure why ya bothered with loctite on nyloc nuts 🤔

I assume your new cover is a Retrax MX Pro? That’s how I went, Retrax Pro MX with UpTop overland truss with 4 vertical members. I think I’m getting this tent. iGlamper is nice but this one looks like it will fit perfect with no overhang on a DCLB Taco and I can do a lot with the $2400 savings 😂

Hi, just came across your channel. I really liked your in-depth setup. I’m considering putting one of these on my utility trailer over my side by side. I’m wondering what your opinion on this tent is now that you have had time to use it. Also, would you recommend it. Hope you’re enjoying it with your family!

It’s been great! Only downside is set-up time takes a good 15 min to do right, but the quick pop up rooftop tents cost a lot more so it’s a trade off.

Hi there! I’ve been interested in this tent for quite awhile but afraid to seal the deal because of the overhang. I have short bed Tacoma as well, have any complaints with it being about a foot longer than your bed?

It’s definitely there but not as noticeable as you think and you can still use the tailgate for cooking and such without bumping your head.
