I like the Rough Ryders knives. What other company had the genius to make a 5" Barlow and Toothpick !!! 2 Iconic designs limited to small and medium sizes by others. I'm a huge fan of Barlows for everyday cutting chores and the Toothpick for a fruit, summer sausage and cheese knife, when I'm not using it to cut rope, string etc.

I got a zombie nick bc I liked the emerald green with black blade look. Paid 15 dollars for it, I've owned 100s of knives, the zombie nick is favorite knife I've owned, it kicked an obsession with rough Ryder knives. They are the single best knives for the money you can buy anywhere in the world. Best part is, you can lose it, break it, destroy it, and not cry. Buy another.

Maybe I am missing something but in this video you say you guys make these knives but all my RR knives say China on the blade. Can someone please break it down Barney style for me?

SMKW has several in house brands that we design and have other manufacturers make for us. Check out one our newest American made slip joints smkw.com/brands/queen-cutlery

@@SMKWcom I don't only buy USA made knives. I was just confused by the comments in the video. You clarified for me. Designed in House, outsource for manufacturing. Got it. Thank you 😊

The RR Copperhead in the Brown Stag Bone which I have is one of my favourite knives. Of any brand. Period. The price is irrelevant. The quality is fantastic. My Buckshot Bone Teardrop Jack is pretty damn good too.

Missed the premiere. My knife is sharp enough to cut Yogurt! As for stockamns, I'd love to see Rough Ryder come out with a clip/spay/punch blade assortment on a Stockman. Even better is it was an equal end stockman! Rough Ryder probably has the best looking stag bone currently in production. Jason doesn't know what he's missing when it comes to the Toothpick. Not only historic but very functional and useful in the four and five inch variety! I'll need to give the Melina knife a try but I'm with Swaggs with the pick of the table! I like that fixed blade!

RR puts effort in their designs. Other brands just give you a yellow handle.

I had forgotten about those and after checking, it appears CASE knives has discontinued them. There is definitely a demand for old guys like myself and especially people with arthritis. 👍🏻

a guy i knew used to give his buddy a case toothpick for xmas. i told him i could get them cheaper but he wouldn't buy from my catalogs and would pay twice from a local store. he paid $75 for one , i could have gotten an MOP for less . some people are stupid . he is, he retired a boght a pickup he couldn't afford since he no longer had a job, lost $1000s of dollars trying to show off . seemy car ? it is a 2000 Toyota celica i got for $1300, i bought a 1999 Porsche Boxster mint in /out for $3000 repaired the clutch et cetera and sold it for $11,000. itsa $70,000 car new .

Have resisted buying Chinese made knives..strictly case and gec up till now, but geeze RR are tempting! If only Case would put an actual point on their blades and really sharpen the dang things...really a shame they can't or won't do that. I'm gonna have to pick up some RR just to see for myself!

And what do the Chinese workers earn if the knives are already so cheap in America? It sounds like slave labor. Then you have the transport costs from China and perhaps a middleman. And despite that, you earn good money from it. And the workers in China are very poor. And so it is with so many products like clothes etc....
