​​@@Cryptaify1: I don't watch modern SML, only the older videos from the original Channel 2: I feel like by the mid-to-late 2010s they really butchered his character. He went from a badass gangster with a no-nonsense attitude and infatuation for video games to a whiny and pathetic moocher who can barely speak basic english. He basically became a parody of himself.

@@locusxe1411 My opinion: I’ve been a fan of SML for a long time, but I have a lot of issues with the modern era. The characters just aren’t as good as they used to be. Junior went from being a spoiled brat to a full-on jerk, and Chef Pee Pee went from being like Squidward to another tired stereotype. Jeffy was once just a stupid character, but now he’s a jerk, and Marvin went from being the grumpy to an annoying, try hard grumpy guy. As for the new characters, the only one I really can’t stand is Ronald McDonald. His comedy feels so forced and cringe-worthy. Brooklyn T. Guy, once funny, just isn’t the same anymore. He was great in the Junior and Jeffy eras, but now he talks too much and his storylines are dumb and repetitive. Another issue is that SML feels like it’s out of ideas. They’ve started making episodes that are just random and nonsensical, like Jeffy’s cat throwing up, Brooklyn Guy getting fired, or Junior kidnapping Penelope. None of them feel fresh or exciting. Plus, there’s zero character development anymore. Back in the day, you’d see real growth, like in The Magical Button, where Junior sacrifices himself to save his friends. Modern Junior would never do that. Finally, SML’s stereotype problem has gotten worse. While characters like Black Yoshi and Tyrone were always stereotypical, they weren’t as over-the-top and cringy as they are now. The older eras didn’t lean as hard into that, and it’s just gotten to a point where it’s too much.
