And the temperature in the core reaches temps up to 35,000 Celsius, or 63,000 Fahrenheit, which is more than six times the temp of the surface of the sun! Though the core of the sun is significantly hotter, at 27 million degrees, which is 428 times the temp of the core of Jupiter. And yes, you'd probably be able to stand on the metallic hydrogen. I wouldn't recommend it though, since scientists think it'd be an explosive 35 times more powerful than TNT. Metallic hydrogen is a really interesting thing that, as far as I'm aware, we've only ever taken an image of it ONCE, and we're not very sure if it was a solid or a liquid.
