Funny thing i got beattings with switches, fly swatters, and brooms. But all that ever did was make me resent my folks. The beatings just made me slightly hate them. However learning and understanding led me to forgive them somewhat and see where they where coming from and how they were struggling. All beaing beat did was make me have fellings of wanting to hurt them but actually talking and understanding got me to behave better. Beatings dont work. It only teaches you to fear the punishment not to understand why what you did was wrong. Trust me I still have resement in me for my parents because of that but I do understand them and was all the better for it.

My dad would throw toys away, break them, or hide them away. Out of all things my dad did he shattered my phone solely because I lightly tossed my phone on to the couch when he asked me to give it to him. That was after i came down stairs to hangout with him and he purposely said things to piss me off. When i tried walking away from the situation he forced me to sit down and listen to him complain about how I'm bot allowed to get mad. my only form of contact with him was gone and i didn't get another one till the next year of school.

Mann worst punishment was just taking a nap. Worst than standing in a corner for a couple minutes. I had hours to sleep and waste my day but i would catnap and sneak and quietly watch tv with my sibling (i was a VERY silent kid)😂she would forget i was there sometimes 😂😂

Here's a fun trivia. In this one old SML movie from 2014 called Junior's Cellphone, they said somewhere that Junior was 4 years old at that time. So for this episode, which takes place in 2015, Junior is probably 5 years old at this point. & currently Junior is 13 years old.

You can’t even yell at your kid or send them to a room or corner since those are behavior tactics, others will treat that as neglect and verbal abuse like… So you rather just let them do whatever they want and when they get in trouble you blame us parents for their actions when we could have punished them how, where and when we please and feels necessary.
