Hi guys! This is *not* my daily foundation routine! This is my extra version that I plan to do for my wedding. This is also not my full skincare routine this is just for makeup prep purposes :) for daily I always add SPF!

I struggle with acne too and did my own makeup for my wedding. I saw an esthetician 6 months pre wedding and did a chemical peel every 6 weeks to make sure I didn’t have any breakouts. It worked for me, I was so nervous about having acne the day of. Doing my own makeup was the best decision ever, I didn’t feel like myself when I did a trial with an artist. I also used air flash for my base mixed with EL double wear. It did not budge even in the 100 degree heat 😎 I also got lash extensions so I don’t have to fuss with strip lashes the day of, they looked great!!

Lately I have really been getting more into skin care, and I can really see how working on my skin has improved the makeup application, your makeup looks great in this video, the foundation came out very nice!

Absolutely! Taking care of the skin makes all the difference in the makeup application and appearance. Also, 2 things I have noticed that REALLY help (i rolled my eyes at 1st, too). Drinking water. Ahh..like a LOT. To really see a difference and a plumpness that no product can achieve. And shaving your face. My makup looks about three 3x better when I shaved the night before. And my skincare products work and penetrate better (or at least it feels so). I use Tinkle razor get it on Amazon and a pack lasts me few months.

Stephanie your skin looks great here. I have been checking out that Guerlain water oil you used. I am trying to decide if it is like an essence. I like the Fresh kombucha essence and twice a week I do Rose..meaning rose water toner and rose serum. Love it. I am not sure if you have ever heard of Rose water that you drink..it is a product from California... You mix a small amount with water to drink. It also helps you to vibrate at a higher level. I also spray one of their products on before Gua Sha several mornings each week. You need to check it out. :)

So Stephanie I received the G water oil and OMG it smells so amazing. I love it! It feels so good on skin...glad I tried it. I have been hesitant cuz I do not want to get one of those white bumps under my skin from using oil. They are impossible to get rid of!! Not a zit..won't pop etc.. sucks. Anyway I am guessing since you use it and do t get them I should be ok too. Lol. I remember you said you stopped using oil cuz same issue. Anyway I LOVE the scent!! To help you out with your breakouts, yes stress can contribute to it and especially the diet. Try avoiding dairy, sugar and alcohol. As for skincare, a good cleansing routine and hydrating the skin is key! Just don’t overdue with products to treat acne as they are stripping and harsh to the skin. I love the new Nars foundation as well too! What lashes are you wearing?
