Awesome video! I'm sure many have said it but next time look for a trim router with a chamfer or bevel bit at 45 degrees. Essentially you'd just make the top layer the same, glue it on, and add a 1/4 or up to 1/2 inch 45 degree bit for the effect. Tight inner angles is where that tool would be useless but it would *cut* down a lot of work...

Great Job Smoe! interesting technique using the modeling clay. I really thought since you vectorized it you would use a cnc for the layers. I think you would have benefit from a chamfer bit and and a hand router to get the bevel. great result In the end, and I know the process is the journey so good for you doing it yourself by hand .

@SMOENOVA11 ай бұрын

I wonder what you would think of doing more of these for sale, and using high density foam cut on a CNC machine. Then you can give it a light sand, and even do most of your painting before you assemble the letters to avoid the bulk of masking. Then do touch ups. The sign would be super light, and you could seal it in epoxy and add LED;s if you want. Might be a great way for fans to buy a piece of your art for their walls, and a nice way to make extra money on rainy days at home. The sign looks so great, and what a cool colour match!
