The problem is that KZbin doesn't treat creators as business owners... there is an unacceptable lack of clarity and nowhere near enough notice for changes to policy. Imagine if a shop owner went to open their business one morning, only to find their key doesn't work & there's a sign on the door saying the landlord doesn't like the poster in your window advertising scratch lottery tickets, so they've decided to lock you out of your business. No notice, no warning, no discussion, and ignoring that the poster has been in your window for 3 months & they never raised an issue. Not only is that nonsensical from a business standpoint, in many places it's illegal... yet YT, Twitch & other platforms have been allowed to do this exact thing for years. If a sponsor is no longer acceptable then YT should be notifying affected creators, giving them options for dealing with their existing content (like being able to clip out the sponsor segment & keep it uploaded), and most importantly, _giving them a reasonable time-frame to comply._ Expecting creators to be mind-readers & know when YT changes their mind on which company is an acceptable sponsor is absurd... but the fact that YT doesn't adhere to advertising standards itself, and constantly pushes ads for outright scams & gatcha mobile games into _every_ video on their site while treating creators this way is downright insulting.
