I'm from the Virginia DC MD area where a lot of people in the circle music of church music and secular is coming out and hit the mainstream a lot of people don't know that Ginuwine Missy Elliott Timbaland Magoo Devante a lot of artists from DC and Maryland but I would have to say playa did a lot of writing and behind the scenes for them backup vocals for genuine expecially The Joy song You Can Tell genuine has a couple riffs here and there but not as tough as static black or smoke at the end of The Joy song Playa the best part on that song if anyone knows... it's smoke that's ending it with all those runs not genuine.. Keep doing your work bro. I wish my music was discovered around that time because should have been a good time to be a part of that movement some of us grounded behind the scenes trying to be where you are so just know you made it and got the plate and be a legend and still is be blessed

It's funny how when singing groups break apart from the secular,church, to the industry.. you still have a love for each other even when they are doing their own thing, the one thing I recognise is there is so much talent with singers and musicians but it's their spirit that can't be replaced in the group. You can fill that spot with another vocalist or musician but won't ever be the same. So that's why groups just desolve. You can tell statics death really affected you all they way around.. there was work and ideas that you guys had in motion behind the seens.. it also shows in your music. Let me ask you.
