This MAP was such an amazing experience. Not only was every single animator so talented and nice, but the support from spectators and friends was so uplifting. I hope everyone enjoys, and that you don’t cry too much.
Headcanon Information: Smoke, Darktails canon mother, never had her cause of death confirmed in the books. This led me to believe that she died from drowning, explaining why Darktail killed so many of his victims via drowning/killing in water. This MAP gives an insight into their backstories, while also allowing animators to produce a MAP using an audio from a childhood movie.

Gosh. I just heard some thunder as it began to storm. Then I looked in my KZbin recommended and see this 23 hours before the premiere.... I can already tell that this M.A.P. is gonna do 2 things. 1. Give me childhood Nostalgia back to watching The Land Before Time as a kid because that movie was my flipping childhood. (It's also one of the many reasons why I want to become a paleontologist) 2. Make me cry about Smoke dying thus leaving Dark kit alone in a storm. This audio always makes me feel sad. Like why wouldn't its a child loosing their mother. Ima need to grab a pillow to cry into when I watch the premiere. After the premiere edit : What a beautiful masterpiece. *Stuffs head in pillow* IM NOT CRYING YOUR CRYING!

I think the Erin's should of had this version instead of Onestar being Darktail's father. Maybe it could of been when Smoke was collecting food one day, Onewhisker saw her and intended to chase her off, never knowing who Smoke was, Darkkit was watching from afar and witnessed Onewhisker accidentally chase Smoke onto a Thunderpath and witness a mosnter kill her, maybe Onewhisker didn't mean to kill her just wanted to chase her off, but assuming she was dead, left her. Maybe Smoke made it back to a tree or something and died there, it would explain why Darktail hates the Clans, especially Onestar.

Oh my god this animation make me cry! The Land Before Time is my favourite cartoon from childhood. I watched it hunderd times. Littlefoot's mother death is so sad and emotional. It's probably influenced by Don Bluth, since the audio is a from a Don Bluth film. Don Bluth used to work for Disney, so his style is indeed very similar.
