I have similar pumps left from a time when I was repairing coffee pod machines. Better oil than acid in the workshop. Personally I would load such a burglar incapacitation device with chilly oil just to make sure the burglar is still rubbing eyes when the police arrives.

Much of the time, all these precautions, activate on false alarms or mistakes. You don't want it to be too nasty :)

Interesting stuff 👍👍

I would have kept it for just being a fast and high output smoke cannon, but the amount of oil spraying... it went back to the scrap yard :)

@@KaizerPowerElectronicsDk Maybe it's not operating properly or it's the wrong smok liquid.

Lol, never seen a anti burglary device smoke machine 😂, you should make a big model electrolytic cap cover for it to vent from for your Tesla coil shows in the future 👍

Is that oil based or glycol based? I have worked on a few "fog machines" and they are glycol based. Also do a lot of DJ equipment repairs and the DJ decks are always covered with years of sticky, stinky, fog machine goo. I feel for ya and having that directly sprayed on your stuff. I actually just brought in a CDJ-900 for repair and smells, probably like your shop smells... But machine that really pumps it out!!

I am guessing it is oil, as its sold as such from the manufacturer and my workshop is more slippery than sticky :)

@@KaizerPowerElectronicsDk Got ya. When fresh, the glycol is slippery too but as it dries it gets nasty and sticky.

Too bad it went back to the scrap yard. A little pesticide in that thing is all you'd need for a nice mosquito fogger. Or, just use it with a Tesla coil (glow around the arcs?). Good luck degreasing everything. It is never a bad time to give stuff a wipe though.
